By far, the nicest theater I have attended. It’s spacious, clean, and the seats are amazing. Completely laying down, there’s a great amount of room. Definitely coming back!
Here trying to watch Bullet Train, and for the second time the projector shuts down during an important scene. I am so mad cuz the movie is good so far, but no enjoyment. Also, after they fix the projector, the sound is not there.
Great large, reclining heated seats. Good sound system, smaller theatres that are never over crowded. Friendly staff, good selection of current movies. Always our first place to go if the movie we want is playing here..
Clean, small, comfy heated seats, nice snack selection. Honestly would be my favorite theater if they upgraded the sound. It was far too quiet. I could hear everyone's smallest little noises they made which really distracted from the movie.
Very nice! Loved the Reclining heated seats. Nice options at the concession stand. Only complaint is that there are absolutely No coffee options!!! Not even a cold canned coffee! Was Not expecting that. They are still getting the hang of things as they just opened but it's got the potential to be great! They also have nice seating areas in the lobby including couches...The theater seats each have their own tray for the food as well. The entire family loved it, the hubby said he will Only go to this theater from now on, lol!
Absolutely love this place, very clean and nice workers. I love the gelato and the rooms r a good size. Always go to this place everytime i want to see a movie. Price is great and in a nice location.
TLDR; Recliners for everyone! The theater looks magnificent. Extra parking is in the back. My Experience I was concerned about the seating since it was NOT stadium seating. The top of the recliners cut off part of the view of the screen when they are straight up, BUT when the seats in front of you are reclined, the view is great. Sitting closer to the front of the theater, might be preferred here. Ordering tickets online, might give the impression that there is a gap between two sets of seats, but they're all in a row, except for where the aisle is located. Arrive early if you're getting concessions. Getting drinks was kind of slow. You fill up your own cup at the coca-cola freestyle machine, but there's only two, and people like to take their time.
The layout of the theater is unique. There's a giant escalator that goes to the main theater. The facilities are immaculate. Fresh popcorn. But if you want more butter, you need to ask. There's no station to put a gallon of liquid cholesterol onto the popcorn. Google sent us a coupon for a discounted ticket through Atom, a third party movie ticket seller. We decided to do the VIP luxury seating for the movie, Mortal Engines. It's top notch. You can order food from the theater concierge. The concierge is for that specific theater. They will deliver it to your seat. They give you a blanket and mints. The seats are heated and you can recline the seats all the way back. This theater has stepped up movie viewing experience. We loved the experience. For a couple dollars more, we will be back. There's a ramen, ice cream shop, bakery and a brunch place in that shopping area.
The theater is nice for Utah, and I don't care about the "non-inclusive food selection" that so many people complain about, but come on, the popcorn is so so so bad. Its so stale! That's the only food that people come to a movie theater to eat, and you screw it up. Its so cheap too. Raise the prices to have edible food and make it consistently/fresh. Honestly, it was so stale and bad that we will never order it ever again from this location. As for the movie, the sound was awful and not surround sound, and the movie theater didn't have lights in the aisles like most theaters do. The seats were well spaced out though, and for that alone my husband and I will visit forever. If I have to pay 13 dollars a ticket so I don't have to smell the mayo/microwave meal/ranch dressing/Mountain Dew on my neighbors shirt, I am more than willing.
I want to give the Megaplex Luxury Theaters at Cottonwood 5 stars. Alas, we watched our movie in a theater that shows the movie in both standard and 3D. We watched the movie in standard. It was fairly obvious that someone neglected to switch the 3D filter out so the movie was quite dark, which definitely affected my view experience. I mention this because the same thing happened at the same theaters when we saw Wonder Woman a while back. It is those small details that make a difference. Aside from the neglectful filter changing, the theaters themselves are very clean, comfortable and totally refurbished. I would highly recommend seeing a movie here. Just make sure the same movie is not showing in 3D .
