This theater is awesome! I went to see Top Gun Maverick for the third time here and it was really awesome! The sound system was stunning and the picture had amazing quality. The seats are great as well.
Amazing IMAX theater. Always great customer service, food selection, fun and relaxing environment. Megaplex has always been one of the best movie theaters in Utah. One of the best attractions in Vineyard, Utah as well with tons of businesses opening around the theater including a Top Golf!. Coca-cola freestyle machines are here, nice and clean public restrooms too!
This place is awesome! I've been watching movies at Megaplex Theatres for a long time, and I'm so glad they built this location in 2015 because now it's super close to my home. I love the enormous screens and stunning sound quality. I especially love the $6 Tuesday nights, it's a great discount for a movie ticket. Also, I love how there are food places located nearby, so I could grab a bite to eat after enjoying a movie. It's perfect.
Great place to see a movie. Comfy seats. Good temperature. We love the popcorn. They changed the self serve butter, which we liked a lot. Now to get the amount of butter we want, we’ll have to pay more. I don’t blame them for charging us for the exorbitant amount we like. And it’s worth the extra 75 cents to us.
Nice theater. Very clean. Tons of concession options, but extremely expensive like all theaters. The staff was funky the last time I was there. There were 6 people standing around trying to see who would check me in because the kiosk wasn’t working. It was like elementary school kids not wanting to have to do a chore and trying to get someone else to do it. Super weird and made us late, but I think you’ll usually be able to avoid that by using the kiosks .
Overall, I had a good experience. The concession stand was efficient, the facility was clean as it could be. The popcorn was okay, and sufficient freestyle fountain drink machines were a plus. The seating was a little snug, but comfortable.
I love this theater! I never have issues with the projectors being bad. I feel like most theaters I go to nowadays don't keep up on the maintenance with their projectors, and the highlights are blown, the coloring is off, or the focus is terrible. I never have the issues. I feel like that happens a lot at the Jordan Commons location. I also love the IMAX experience at Vineyard! I've never had a bad experience at this theater, and it's my favorite in Utah.
Nice theater, typically always clean from what I can tell. Having an IMAX in Utah County is great, so if you are looking to have the IMAX experience this is the place to go. Tuesdays are the best day to go as basically all tickets are $5. The concessions line can often times move slowly so you will want to take that into account if you are coming on a weekend/evening and show up close to your show time. Other than that it's a great place.
I think people forgot how to behave in movie theaters. I went to see Smile at the 7:10 Tuesday showing on 10/4/22 and the audience was awful. There were four people in front of me who literally never got off their phones the entire movie. They were snap chatting their friends and watching TikTok’s. Then the people behind me were also commenting on the whole movie and would not be quiet. I could barely focus on the movie because the audience was so terrible. This theater is great. I can’t complain about the theater itself. But if every audience behaves how this one did, then I don’t see the point in coming back.
Splurged on the recliner seats and they did not disappoint! I could adjust the feet and reclining position to my liking, and also there was a trag to put food on which was nice. And you’d think the pleather finish would make them cold, but they’re surprisingly warm! I was sooo comfortable and cozy, I think I’ll go again soon. I also love the design of the lobby, and the drink machines that let you choose any combination of flavors your heart desires. The employees were very accommodating as well. All around great experience!
