Meijer Store impressed me with its diverse offerings. From a well-stocked grocery section and acceptable bakery to its spotless environment, this store delivers. I've never been to this Meijer before, but I was surprised at how smooth my experience was. I went around 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn't super packed. I got checked out through the self check out fairly quickly and the cashier even scanned my heavy bags of dog food for me. The bottle return is separate and has its own entrance, which I loved. There were a couple machines down, and before I finished, they came in and fixed them. The bathrooms weren't super clean, but not as bad as some Meijers I've been to. Overall, I'd definitely come back.
Came there for flowers to plant in planters but sadly the selection was non existent. But that wasn't going to stop me from filling my cart with other items that cought my eye. This location has always been one of my favorites. Honestly besides the fact that it's the closest one to where I live there really isn't anything special about the store itself but let me just say that good customer service and friendly faces goes very far in my book.
Fairly clean store. Lots of parking. They do a pretty good job at keeping the cart carrals empty and in the store. Friendly employees. Only downside is that the almost always have the 5 items or less machines closed.
The store was clean great customer service people were polite and patient. The meat was fresh and so was the produce. The prices are mostly reasonable. I was able to get in and out 20 minutes or less
Watch your receipt. Sale prices listed on shelves not showing up at the register. This store has been so good with this previously. It cost me an extra $10 today because of it. Depends on whether you're willing to let all your frozen foods thaw while you straighten out the bill. Disappointed.
Went in on September 22, 2023 to fulfill an Instacart order. None of the things in the order I was assigned to do were in the right aisle. I was also treated very rudely by staff in the department where they ship the stuff out when I explained my frustrations. Got close to zero help. I Talked with the store manager and someone else about how bad Instacart works with this company. Highly debating on never shopping at this location again or Meijer itself on Instacart due to low organization between the two companies. Would give a zero star if could.
For several years I've been in abusive relationship with the Kroger on 9 mile and John r. This Meijer feels like a breath of fresh air! Someone greeted me when I came in, the service/checkout went smoothly, big selection of things although the food selection itself is only ok I'd say. The vegetables sometimes aren't the freshest, but everything else is great! Not ghetto at all.
Wow this place is terrible! Early shopping trip today and this place is trashed. Had to use self checkout because it was the only option available. Wanted to use a fitting room, but they were all closed not COVID related. Bought an item that didn't fit, so I had to go back and wait in a line six people deep for the one customer service person to handle the return I could have avoided if I could have used a fitting room. I can't stomach shopping here. It's simply a terrible customer experience. The only positive was the friendly cashier that cleared the errors from the piece of trash checkout machine.
Normally I have a pretty average experience shopping. But today I was incredibly stressed over some extremely rude people and incompetence. The week before, I called and ordered 36 red velvet cupcakes for a Juneteenth work event. I was going to be off work, so my assistant would be picking them up. She happened to come in today to ask about the time to pick then up and they have no such order. It is now Friday evening and I need these for Sunday. We are told that they don't make Red Velvet cupcakes, I asked why I wasn't told that or at the very least called back about it? So I ask if I can substitute Chocolate cupcakes with red frosting and am told its too late now! What??? I put this order in last week! The woman on the phone is incredibly rude so I ask her what her name is, and she wont tell me. I then ask to speak to her manager and she loudly drops the phone. I wait a few more seconds and she hangs up on me. I try to locate another local bakery, I try other nearby Meijers and Krogers. with no luck. No one is taking any more orders this short of notice. I finally call the Kroger Marketplace on 12 & Stephenson Hwy and they can accommodate me! THANK YOU KROGER!
