Beautiful apartments with amazing value of finishes and fixtures in Southbank. Not to mention the great facilities available to residents and the convenience of woolies downstairs and a dog park right in front.
Irresponsible, ignorant building manager. If you consider buying renting or living here please don’t. Please read the reviews from many residents who have lived here and trust us. The air con has broken so many times & the building manager has no idea how to handle it, it broke down during winter too. No clear explanation on what happened and how they plan to resolve it. He even screamed when I called to ask what happened and it’s been more than 8 hours since he said the electrician is on it.his exact words “i am not an electrician I can only wait for them” The gym has been closed for months & the pool as well meanwhile we have to pay ridiculous rent because of the facilities. I have never posted any negative review before but this place deserves it!
I am extremely disappointed with the state of the building I am living in. It seems like almost everything is not working properly, with the air conditioning constantly failing on the hottest days and the gym remaining closed for months with no updates from management as does the swimming pool. The rubbish chute is also constantly stuck, and communication from the management team is almost non-existent. This has made living in this building a miserable experience and it is hard to see any positives when so many things are not functioning as they should be. I hope that the management team takes urgent action to address these issues and improve the overall quality of the building
We have been here since Covid. So over two years. I wouldn’t recommend buying or renting an apartment from here. First of all the concierge are mostly very rude and unhelpful. They see you every day but they act like they’ve never seen you before when I constantly asked for IDs to check your mail etc. To book in the amenities can be such a hassle. Also you have to leave all the amenities by 10 o’clock, and sometimes that just does not suit the occasion. And there is no flexibility. It is summertime now, and the air-conditioner has broken down in the entire building three times in a week. The pool has also been closed three times in two weeks. Our common area on our floor is always dirty, it is never vacuumed frequently enough. In the car park I saw a professional cleaner looking through everybody’s cage and through their cars. All I can say is this place has lots of rules and regulations, it is not a comfortable place to live at all. After been here for two years they then change the rules and we have to listen to an induction in order to use the amenities. Turns out the residence knew more than the person explaining things. For a new building it’s poorly built. Fire alarms are always going off, my children are so traumatised from how many times it’s happened at night. It’s a joke! And the big one! The gym has been out of use for months! Months! Because of a water leak. And speaking of water leak there was on one level 6 that went through all the level below it and they’re still reaping it 6 months later! I was going to give it 2 stars but I give it 1
Living here for ~3 years as I was one of the first residents in the building. I am rating this 1 star and urge others to explore alternative options as the Owners Corporation have been terrible at managing the site. Currently our core facilities e.g gym have been closed for 5 months due to repairs that should of be completed in 4-6 weeks since they have delayed commencing the process with insurers and effectively managing logistics. Additionally, they are now requiring all residents to spend $50 non-refundable use fee for the key private facilities e.g. private dining room, pool table, bar lounge etc as they have failed to 1 manage the Airbnb situation in the building; and 2 effectively use the condition report process to identify those who have been causing unreasonable damage. This is one of the many examples of how they have failed its residents. Lastly, our facilities during covid were closed longer than other apartments by several months. We were only able to reopen them when owners/residents took matters into their own hands by acting as a liaison between Members of Parliament and Owners Corporation. We even had to provide effective solutions such as establishing the Covid Marshall process and managing capacity to get this reopened. There are many other examples that can be shared. That said, building management has been great and are actively doing the best they can while operate in a very challenging environment.
Biggest mistake of my life is buy a apartment in Melbourne square building. Management people have no sense and every day they make new rules. They told me bike stands outside building is not for bikes these stands only a showcase. They told me i can not rent my apartment to Airbnb, but when i come first time to look they told me yes you can do short term rent in my apartment and guest can use all facilities. management told my guests that's facilities are not to use by Airbnb people and when i ask them they said that the policy of management.
Very bad. Some highlights from living here over the past year: The sound insulation between the apartments is dreadful. You will hear sounds from your neighbours at all hours of the day. This is a repeated complaint from other reviews here - whatever building management say, this is not normal. I’ve lived in apartments for the last decade and nothing has ever come close to this. The facilities are in a constant state of disrepair. The gym is currently closed and has been for close to two months. Apparently a leak in the roof caused sewage water to leak into the floors, and the damage to the floors now poses a health risk to residents. Odd, therefore, that in the lead up to its closure I repeatedly saw building management attempt to handle the same leaks by placing a bucket on the floor rather than actually trying to resolve the problem. No one took accountability, nor is anyone in a rush to to update residents about when and how this problem is being resolved - the only timeline building management ever bothered providing has long since come and gone, and now they ignore residents on the internal app asking for an update. The lifts constantly break down half the time the buttons don’t even work? and even the bin chute was out of action for weeks! Putting aside issues of building quality, the far bigger concern was the fact that rubbish downstairs was allowed to pile up in an incredibly unsanitary way see picture attached. Once again, no one took accountability. I really feel for the reception team who do their best and are genuinely lovely. Otherwise, this is a poor building managed by even worse building management team. It's honestly bizarre and a little bit sad to watch them operate as they do: lazily, sloppily, and with a complete and utter lack of pride.
Biggest mistake of my life is buy a apartment in Melbourne square building. Management people have no sense and every day they make new rules. You pay money a lot but get the bad service.
I am waiting my lease to end Finally my lease is ended and I want to say that it was the worst experience ever especially with concierge who refuses to give me my package before my flight and she insist in organizing the packages. I never got my package! Later, I got a call from the management saying that I always use “having flight” excuse to get my package. Event though, I never said that or used that. It's so miserablee some people accusing tenants of lying lol. Both Mangment and Concerige are not helpful. I found Harika very helpful other than previous concierges were not helpful at all. I am sorry for everyone living thier
Views are great and supermarket very convenient, but worst internal sound insulation of any apartment building I have ever lived in. Therefore, build quality cannot be described as 'premium'. I can hear neighbours talk, play music, raise and lower blinds, and the window mechanism from downstairs is so loud it often makes me jump. Not worth it at any price.
