I am a mother and grandmother who has been making clothes for more than 30 years for myself as well as my children and grandchildren.
Now I am offering my creations for others to enjoy at the urging of my children. I hope you enjoy my outfits as much as we do. Please feel free to email me anytime with questions or comments. I welcome all input. You may have an idea or a fabric that you are not quite sure if you can make something out of it I am here to listen and give advice if you need it. I pride myself on the way I finish an outfit; the seams are always surged so that they will not fray. I always wash and dry my fabric on high heat so that I can get any shrinking out of the fabric before I cut anything out. I buy all my snaps from Kamsnaps.com so that they are high quality and have been safety tested. I try to use fabrics that are fun, pretty, and/or unique that maybe you would not think of using, but I have found that over the years they last and give a unique look to my outfits.
Whenever possible I use 100% cotton fabric, but I do love seersucker and that usually has some polyester in it to help keep the texture of the fabric. When I use a solid twill or corduroy, I look for one with a little Lycra in them so they give and stretch so the children can play and be children.
