I went here Thursday morning with most severe ear infection of my life. To the point where I could not work, care for my child, sleep, drive, you name it. The receptionist and nurse were very kind and I appreciate their kindness. The doctor himself acted like I was dramatic and wasted his time. I asked him for a steroid or antibiotic I fully understand they don’t just give these out for no reason, but it was warranted and was told he didn’t believe the “risk was worth the reward”. He very reluctantly sent me on my way with tramadol for pain when I became upset and refused to leave with nothing. Zero bed side manner. Zero compassion. Zero “give a damn”. Again, thank you to the nurse for her kindness but the overall experience by the doctor and help I received was horrible. I sadly can’t recommend even though the facility is nice and location is convenient.
Very unprofessional RN. Was crying to the radiology nurse because he could not find something right in front of his face. I told him he was unprofessional and he quickly became defensive. I asked him to leave and send another nurse to do my IV. Belittling another co worker in front of a patient waiting to get a CT scan, who is nervous, and scared is unacceptable. I will also be talking to a hospital manager about this. Did I mention my appointment was for 8am, asked to show up at 7:30, and it is now 9:30 and I only have an IV.
I am so lucky to have found this place. The people who complain about being here for a couple hours have no idea what ERs are usually like. I waited 12 hours just to see a doctor time and time again. But not this place. They make you feel comfortable and taken care of right away. It’s never too crowded. Everyone who works here is so sweet and helpful from the moment you walk in. I feel so grateful to have found this place. I’ll go downtown when it’s for cancer, but little emergencies have been so easy coming here. Thank you to the entire staff.
Was actively having a heart attack and came in with severe chest pain. They ran an ECG and stated I wasn’t having a heart attack and sent me home; even though with my follow up at my primary care physician shows I now have a heart attack on my ECG. I could have died with their negligence. To top that off with the nurse telling me a horror story of a patient dying in their front room with a heart attack because they don’t know how to treat them at this location!
First the bad, and it's not their fault: the Google witch didn't know where they are and took me to the completely wrong side of the Grand Parkway. BUT I went to the company website, found the location, and hit the directions button. That took me back to Google, but this time it knew where they were. Now the good: no waiting at all! My technician was a delightful lady who laughed at my silly jokes and made my mammogram less awkward. Sure wish I had paid attention to her name, she deserves recognition. Hope I get her again next year!
Absolutely awful business practices! This place has terribly rude staff members and way of service. I’ve been scheduled for an MRI appointment for two weeks and I got a call the day before my procedure with issues of the order from my doctor and benefits stipulations. They waited until the end of the day before I was supposed to be in at 6:30 in the morning to tell me all these problems. Then after several calls of trying to help them navigate and resolve the issue between the doctor and my benefits, they told me everything was ready to go. Then 10 minutes later, I got a call back stating that my appointment was canceled due to questions around my benefits. They never even gave me the option to offer to pay out of pocket or go over any details with me. They just canceled my appointment. I’ve been waiting to get in for this appointment as it’s dealing with back pain. The result is I will never ever use them ever. This is proof in a handbasket that their patients are nothing but a dollar sign to them. Instead, I called around and I am working with a group of physicians who are way more considerate, caring and ready to get me in as soon as possible. Don’t waste your time or your money with these people.
At 4 am I took my husband in, who was in extreme pain. The receptionist was extremely rude & we walked out. We went down the road to St. Lukes and they were great & treated us with great compassion.
Took my husband in 2/2/2023 at about 7:00pm with 103 Temp. The ER doctor was rude, cocky, not humorous. He did bloodwork and said he didn't think he had an infection even though he was running a fever and I had explained to him he was in remission with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, had a arotic valve replacement and had his spleen removed as well. I told him I wouldn't have brought him to hospital if he had a spleen because I could control his fever but I know that when you don't have to spleen, you can get an infection and can get out of control really quick That's when he decided to transfer him to the one in the woodlands and he is still in the hospital.
if i could leave a negative star review i would. i came in to the ER with a severe allergic reaction to codeine; throat swelling shut, rash covering my face, chest pains, shaking uncontrollably. i have a congenital heart defect that can cause heart attack or stroke and the codeine was causing serious pain in my chest to the point i couldn’t breathe. i explained all this to the front desk, clutching my chest and crying, and they told me to have a seat because there was a wait. i asked if i could have someone at least check my vitals because i could tell something was very very wrong. i sat in that waiting room for 2.5 hours while visibly having a life threatening allergic reaction, and was still never seen or had my vitals taken. The people here, specifically the front desk woman, do not care about the patients well being. i understand having to wait for a room due to being understaffed or busy, but when a person tells you they are having a life threatening emergency, i expect to be seen or AT THE VERY LEAST have my vitals checked. Absolutely horrible place and will never go again. I could have died in that waiting room and i’m sure no one would have blinked an eye.
My wife was having a reaction to some medication and clearly in uncontrolled physical distress. They watch her screaming for help for over 20 minutes. The receptionist just kept saying the nurse is coming. I see the nurse poke her head out and waves a guy with her lunch back and closes the door. We walked out and went to St Luke’s ER, where they immediately took her back and started treating her. I’ve always had a soft spot for Memorial Herman from the care my grandfather received throughout his heart troubles. This is where I draw the line though, a woman literally screaming for help and they did nothing. A disgraceful and disgusting way to treat people in need.
