My son took me there because I thought I was having a heart attack. He checked me in and the two ladies up front kept visiting and laughing while I sat there barely able to catch my breath or sit up and my son was pacing the floor. We were the only ones in the ER. We were there at least 30 min; no one came out to get me, the ladies at the front never explained why I wasnt getting help. Nothing seems like an emergency there. We ended up leaving, nobody said a word. I highly Do Not recommend. You will die before you get helped!!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. The staff are non empathetic, rude as hell, & sure as hell don't know how to do their job. The way my mother was treated is sickening. I can't wait for my lawyer. GO TO UTAH!! I'd rather take my chances dying on the way then ever come to this pathetic excuse of a hospital.
I can't believe how I was treated just trying to schedule a mammogram. I think because it was another company that had my orders. They were not helpful just rude. I'm going to continue to use Rock Creek Imaging and will give the the business and the 5 stars for they way they treat their patients.
My review on Memorial Hospital Sweetwater County physical therapy is that where is there are very nice and very professional. I recommend this place for physical therapy to everyone. I give them the highest ratings.
Hit or miss with this hospital. Some days and some staff are amazing and other times it's like they couldn't care less. With the health care field being severely understaffed throughout the world, it's understandable to be burn out.
Biggest complaint out of everything, the ER staff cannot handle infants. They have no knowledge of what to do with a sick infant and the ER Doctor I dealt with was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, and greatly lacked empathy. She made me feel as if I were crazy even though I knew something was wrong with my baby. My 3 week old was refusing to eat and inconsolable. That is not typical normal behavior. I was told it was and to give tylenol. I did not take this advice and drove 2.5 hours to primary children's where I was immediately taken seriously. My son ended up having a severe allergy and reflux, so it literally hurt for him to eat. Had I not taken him to Utah, he could have died. All you hear is horror story after horror story about this hospital, and nothing changes. It would be great if the CEO's valued the community opinions and made changes. But that has never been the case. It's scary to know that if something goes wrong with small children, you have to go to a different state to get proper care.
I have some concerns about a staff member who made some quite disturbing comments about the suicidal & psych patients at this facility. Personally I've been in the medical field for over 15 yrs and recommend that those who work in this field do it for the right reasons or dont do it at all. I get that life can be hard, however you leave that at the front door & provide the best quality care to all patients. To take your frustration out on patients & wish death on them shouldn't be acceptable at ANY point, especially when you're one of the first people they have contact with. Hopefully someone will contact me so I can provide them with proof & they can remove this NUS staff member.
If you’re looking for a pediatrician or have simple, common Illness then this hospital will do.. other than that I haven’t had a pleasant experience. I typically never leaves reviews, but I am that upset with this place. We have been to the ER three times for different family members and they were extremely slow each time. Never came out with an accurate diagnosis either. Ended up traveling for most of our care afterwards. 100% worth traveling for an OB also. Onto the billing department. Worst part about this whole place. I received a notice from collections over a bill I never received in the mail from this hospital. Somebody is doing a really good job at lying. I was told voicemails were left to notify me of the past due bills… well I haven’t had a voicemail set up on my phone EVER. According to their notes there were 5 paper bills sent out as well. I didn’t receive anything. They admitted they were having issues with their system during that time, but came back and said they can’t do anything about it. I am an extremely organized person and pay bills on time and never once skipped any payments, so this makes me sick to my stomach. Still fighting some of this. To do everything right and get told you’re a liar is so disheartening and unfair. . Things will always go wrong in life, it is what it is, but to have numerous bad experiences at the same place is enough to make you drive the extra miles for better care, and enough to write this negative review :
My Mom went there thinking she was having a heart attack, they did EKG, chest X-ray and said everything looked good, she asked if it could be gallbladder, the Dr said no, she would just have stomach pain and said her gallbladder and liver were fine. I wonder how they would know that without doing an ultrasound or blood work. Just another example of this place!
Billing department is the worst. They send you a bill and tell you that's what you owe. No itemization of the service, you just have to believe what they say was done. Found out you have to call them to get an itemized statement. By time you get it several months have past. My advise is IF you have to go to this hospital take a pen and note pad. Write down everything that was "done" for you and request an itemized bill from the start. Also check to see if they billed your insurance, that's a hit or miss option. Recently recieved a bill showing visit A, C and D were sent to my insurance, but B never was. Tried to get assistance last summer. Both my husband and I were out of work. He just had rotator cuff surgery so he couldn't collect unemployment. Apparently I made too much money on unemployment to qualify for assistance! They don't care what other bills you may have either. BUT MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE BILLING OFFICE was when I requested a receipt for my payment, they sent me someone else's receipt. It was addressed to me, but someone else's receipt was inside the envelope. I still don't know who got my receipt and have never gotten my receipt. When I called them to tell them of the HIPPA violation they did, they didn't believe me until I gave them the name AND account number of the other patient. I still have the originals but don't know to whom I should report this violation. They spend thousands of dollars to improve their reputation to the county, but the leadership team is like our government now; they don't obey their own rules and standards. Do what I say, not what I do. The ER doctors come from the University of Utah and don't know what they are doing. It's a great place to go for stitches but anything else you get a ride to the U of U in a helicopter. And don't think for a minute they don't get a kick back for that. Radiology is good, but it's the most expensive compared to other facilities. Think twice before going. Ogden is only 2.5 hours away.
