Love love love this little park. It's quiet, clean, completely enclosed so your kids can't run into the road or parking lot, couple benches for the parents, trash can on site. Has a playscape for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. The best part in my opinion is there aren't any swings yet so you won't have to dread pushing your kid on a swing the entire time. LOL
Memorial park is a sweet little park in Southington, CT. It has a town pool that offers swimming lessons for kids and open swimming for families in the town. There is a beautiful grove of old oak trees where you can find all sorts of wildlife from mosses and mushrooms to wood frogs and spring peepers. There is a fun playground for younger kids that looks like a pirate ship and lends to all sorts of imaginings as they play.
Very nice pool. Not to mention playground and picnic tables all on other side. They have a huge changing room and benches in there even. Plus kiddie section is adorable without an actual pool it has colorful tall sprinkles for the little ones to play under. N they were having a blast!
Very nice and clean park
Great playground for young children. Very new elements. Padded ground. My wife and I took our grandson there.
The park itself is really nice. Lots of tree for shade and plenty of picnic tables to have a bite to eat on. The playground is kinda small but the pool being so close it's doubtful the kids will want to play very much. The pool is L shaped with the drop end reaching 10 ft. No diving boards, but they do allow diving. Which is a plus for me because that how I like to enter the pool for the first time. I have to say we'll definitely be back here a few more times before summer ends.
The park is clean and well maintained. There is a small play area for younger children that includes a couple of small slides and a swing set. It is nice and shady with all of the trees around. There are also a couple of tennis courts and fields for baseball.
Beautifully kept.very quiet.
I love this park. Fenced in, small but my kids love it. Best of all.. No swings! Hahaha So they will run!
Best pool to teach diving and throwing tiny football back and forth with my grandson is a blast..the difference is .this pool is packefore..but it seems they aren't like magnets to is..like at the rec...we have more space somehow. What. A blast
