Lovely, little community park with nice pavillons and play ground areas. Band stand, tennis/pickle ball courts.. deck hockey, walking path& baseball field. Public restrooms. Showing it's wear in some areas but still a little treasure! Picnic area: Picnic areas are usually available however if you're planning a special gathering contact the city building and grounds dept. for a reservation.
We love this park, however it's old and the equipment is super high off the ground so if you have under three kids be really careful. Seedy at night for sure. Otherwise the park is beautiful, bridge is cool, scenery is awesome but the playground is cool too just a little old.
The park is awesome. Its beautiful and has great amenities. The scenery is fantastic. It has a forest trail, but we didn't try it yet. The castle playground is great, but the bigger one is too high off the ground. The rubber ground is lumpy and slippery when wet from rain or morning dew. The drinking fountain at the restroom didn't work and the restrooms were closed for some reason. There were tennis courts, basketball courts, and possibly a pool. Lots of covered picnic tables and spacious grassy area to relax. If you play Pokemon go, there are many pokestops here.
The grad party was nice, but when I booked the Pavillion I didn't realize that it was tight up against the other 2. We would have liked a more separated setting, as in not being so close that we hear what others are saying and doing. But the wheelchair accessibility was great.
This park is super nice. Has a creek to play in. Has two diff jungle gyms with slides. However it’s lost a star and here is the reason - the bigger jungle gym is sooooo high off the ground. Due to the ground shifting I guess, but it makes for some issues with the younger ones. I have a two year old and it actually scares me when he goes down the slide. The drop off the slide is high enuf to get pretty hurt. Aside from this, it’s nice. Several pavilions with grills. The grills are smaller but there are plenty. It makes for a nice place for the family to have a 30 min stop, or several hours. There are walking trails and courts for people who wanna play ball.
We always go here to chill and relax. It's so peaceful.
Was a beautiful park, well maintained. Perfect for the pregnancy shoot we were doing. Playground: The playground was in a nicely shaded area. Restrooms: The restrooms were open. They were surprisingly clean for a park. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not permitted in the park, although I saw dogs there. Picnic area: There are plenty of picnic areas to choose from.
I love to walk here. There is a half mile track, under tress. It stays cool and the flowers and landscaping is well kept.
Lovely place to take the kids... they can play basketball, walk the creek, play on the playground or just walk around. You can also pokemon go.
Cute little park. Needs some fixing up. But all in all it. Nice
