I love the memorial, dedicated to the fallen soldiers of wars fought. It's very heart warming and thought provoking. The main memorial has an unique feature. There a sections of rock within in, labeled from countries around the world. The band shell host music venues every so often in the good weather seasons. Over the years it has become a flop spot for vagabonds and rifle raft, but the city has dedicated security to patrol the park and they are doing a good job keeping loitering down.
Too many junkies hanging around there, Summer was horrific. Lots of police presence trying to curb it down, with little success.
What, seems like some humans have been making some errors and having wanting to manipulate something that isn't any of their business easedropping. My location wasn't turned on, looks like some hackers have been misbehaving, tapping into people's phone and abusing human rights and freedoms, not to mention privacy violations... Thinking one wouldn't catch on, sorry people, wasn't there...
The event was great its a beautiful park but only one star on a normal day the people there are always high and passing out everywhere even though security's always walking around. Clean up the park please

Great spot for to catch some local events, park is clean, gets a bad wrap, personally I've never been bothered by anyone there
Saw the remembrance day parade, it's a beautiful park.
A beautiful piece of land, and an important part of Oshawa. It has both community and historical importance. Unfortunately over the last few years it seems like respect has been lost. What once was a place for fun gatherings and events, a public meeting space to remember.. Has not turned into just a place for groups to just hang out. literally often times people can be seen sitting on mural walls, allowing their dogs to run on the clam shell.. or simply just leaving trash where they wish. We all deserve to have a place to enjoy, and I understand some have fewer options than others. It would just be real nice if we took care of the places that we did have available.

I spent a few hours there today, they were serving sandwiches and water and a banana, I chatted with a few people, a nice break from isolation., in July 2022 they aren't allowed to serve food. by law not sure when that started. Still a nice place to socialize while your allowed to be in the park. Until 10 PM. Then your escorted out of the park by Security, pedestrians are not allowed to even stand near the park, that's also forbidden past 10 pm.
