This is a beautiful station with cleverly incorporated architecture and an extremely convenient location in Downtown Pasadena. It can be slightly sketchy at times, but nothing compared to other stations in LA!
Beautiful station near many restaurants and shops! Feels safe at night as well.
Great station for connecting to the Gold Line. Easy access from either stairs or ramps. Don't forget to get a tap card or the transit police will get you! Very clean station, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Pasadena. Metro bike share is also right across the street from the entrance of the station.
Gold Line Station w/ train arrival times!! Pretty easy to navigate. Fares can be purchased right next to the entry exit. Make sure not to miss this since the transit cops are lurking on the train or at Union station from time to time. Well lit at night. Fully covered waiting area.
I use this station for my commute everyday. Overall, it is safe and well maintained. Sometimes trash and houseless/unpredictable people per usual but most of the people at the station are commuters. Overall one of the best metro stations.
Good clean metro stop. Next to a park. Just above old pas. Plenty of people walking around. There is a kids playground. Some homeless people who mostly stick to themselves around the bandshell.
Pretty clean and easily accessible station. Great for connecting to the larger rail network
Beautiful station. Fairly well kept. Decent mix of normal/homeless people. All around fairly clean and safe feeling. Easy access to Old Town Pasadena and Colorado Blvd. About 25 minutes from Azusa and 25 minutes from Union Station.
This place is next to the Memorial Park and walking distance to the Old Town Pasadena, City Hall, Courthouse and the Pasadena Library. Many lawyers take the train from downtown to come here. It's faster. Also they don't have to worry about the parking. There are many restaurants about a block away on Colorado, including Cheesecake Factory, King's Taco. You can also attend the summer concert series at the Memorial Park by taking this train.
There's already plenty of reviews, pertaining to the specific location. Needless to say, it's rather useless to write another one. Nevertheless, basic features of this train station is the southbound train takes you directly to Union Station and to Atlantic Station in East Los Angeles. On the other hand, it's northbound route goes directly to Azusa station and another reconstruction project is currently in the works to Montclair. Essentially, it's really only a matter of time of how much this "Measure M" bill of the 2016 general election will affect LA County in the near future. Pasadena Public Library is only minutes away and the Old Town Pasadena. Memorial Park is a beautiful sight and one of the many precious features of which the city has.
