This was the largest issue of our wedding day. The groom was measured incorrectly and told to come back the morning of the wedding to be given the correct suit. Luckily my brother was the correct size and we could send him instead. When my brother got there the worker gave him the same incorrect sized suit jacket and he was told that was all they had. The worker that helped my husband on Thursday afternoon was incredibly rude while a majority of the staff sat around doing nothing. I would not recommend Men’s Warehouse to anyone getting married or for any other event.
Horrible experience. They do not have many options for children's sizes. Very limited options, had to get my son shoes and white shirt somewhere else. The only pants they carry are wide. Also no one told me the suits were supposed to be returned the very next day after the event... It had a slip on the suit cover, which I didn't not pay attention to and when I go return it, they charged me $120 late fee for turning it in the Saturday after the event. I ended up paying over $250 for just the jacket, pants, vest and bow tie. Ridiculous!
The people working here are the furthest from professional and don’t seem to have interest when speaking. We rented two suits from them, one grey and one black. Once we went to pick up the suits they told us they had ordered two grey suits instead of one black and grey. With the grey suit we tried it on and it had a stain on it that they didn’t even notice and we had to see. They didn’t even try to compensate with anything and still charged us for two grey suits even though we ordered one black. Go somewhere else!!!
I don’t write bad reviews but felt I needed to share so others could be informed about wedding day decisions. This was the biggest issue of our wedding day. Customer service at the Vernon Hills location is absolutely horrible and unprofessional. My husband went in to pick up his suit 3 days before the wedding and it was HUGE on him. The staff told him “that’s just how it’s supposed to fit because it’s a tuxedo” ??? and wouldn’t entertain any other solution. He was sized at this location, so it seems to be an issue as there have been other reviews about incorrect sizing from here as well. Right after leaving the Vernon Hills store at 8 pm my husband drove to the Skokie location. They confirmed he was TWO sizes too big and got him a proper fitting jacket, shirt, pants - the whole shabang. They even worked late to tailor his new jacket on the spot and ensure it would be ready for him. Would highly recommend the Skokie location, it’s worth the extra 20 minute drive. Update: Instead of posting canned, meaningless follow ups to bad reviews get corporate into the Vernon Hills store to resolve the culture issues immediately.
Disappointing. Wrong size vest was ordered, and had to go with an sub-par option. They claim to be able to overnight stuff, but the reordered vest wouldn't arrive until the day of my wedding. Seems like they should prioritize something like that considering I got multiple people to get their tux's from here.
We have come to this location a couple times for some button downs and whatnot, and came in January to get fitted for another wedding. It went super smooth and everything fit when we picked up at another location. We made an appointment at the Skokie location for our own wedding consultation and we were ignored for 20min. So, we walked out and came here a week later. They have plenty of nice, knowledgeable staff shout out to the ones there when we came, Felicia helped us and Mark and a few others were there, y'all are awesome who helped us immediately and made us feel welcome. COME HERE even if it's a drive! Also right next door to a David's Bridal if you need that. Our out of town groomsmen will be picking up here as well!
I especially did not like the attitude of the manager of this store -Mark. One of the change rooms showed how I could text a code to a phone number and get a 20$ coupon. I did per the instructions, but did not get the code. I thought Mark would help me but his attitude really was 'Ah.. need to do this this and he just walked away'. That after I was ready to spend 350$ at the store. Very disappointing, in this day of Amazon level customer service to see this sort of attitude. A manager can always put in a code and get you the discount, but Mark just chose to brush me away.
I don't recommend shopping here unless you prefer condescending help. I ended up spending my money on a suit elsewhere and couldn't be happier.
I found a very nice shirts for my husband. That's a good quality as well.
I would give zero stars if I could. My fiancé and his groomsmen and my dad ordered suits from here to rent for our wedding. They took their measurements and ordered them and told them to pick them up two days before the wedding. I kid you not- not a single suit was the correct sizing. My fiancé had to purchase his own shirt because the one they gave him was 4x too big, my brother in laws vest was the wrong size, they were supposed to have slim fit pants and none of them did. My other brother in law had the complete wrong sizing and when brought it up with the consultant they said “oh we made a mistake during measuring”. Most of them got their suits fixed the day before or day of the wedding by the manager calling the actual maker of the suits. This was a horrible experience and I would tell all future couples to stay far away.
