I'm not sure where to start. I'm getting married in October and decided to give Men's Wearhouse my business since I worked there for 3 years. We had an absolutely terrible experience. I'm not entirely confident on how our rentals will come out. That's one issue we had. The second is that I took my father there a week ago despite having a terrible experience with the rentals. We were wanting to purchase a suit for my father. We were in the building for 10 minutes and didn't get acknowledged once. Thankfully I had 3 years of experience and decided to get my father fitted myself. We had no help from the time we arrived until I had to track down a sales associate to get him marked for tailoring. The kid who was in there, long blonde hair, was less than interested in helping through the process. My father made a special trip since he lives an our away. Yesterday I picked his suit up and it's like they never tailored it. We should've walked out and went somewhere else but he still spent $700. I would definitely like to be contacted regarding this visit.
Terrible experience. The girl that helped us was not knowledgeable at all and seemed uninterested and very condescending. I asked about getting pants and a suit jacket tailored and she asked, "Why they fit"? She informed us also that she couldn't size us because she was underage? Very rude to my groomsman as well. She acted like all of our questions were stupid. We ended up walking out. The shoes we were "buying" not renting cost $150 alone, the pants $110 and the suit jacket over $300. You would think that if a person was spending hundreds of dollars customer service would be better. I also had an appointment that wasn't honored and stood around aimlessly for what seemed like forever. Had a better experience at Macy's who had a wider selection and better customer service, it's also right across the street and cheaper.
Stopped in to try some suits on for an upcoming wedding. The saleswoman asked if we needed anything. When I turned around to tell her we were just browsing, she made a funny face…I’m guessing it’s because I’m AFAB and shopping for a men’s suit. They do have a nice selection and the prices were comparable to others that I’ve seen, so if variety is something you’re looking for, they would be a good place. Wasn’t super thrilled to spend money here based on the reaction from the saleswoman. Maybe in the future? Not completely ruling them out. I ended up getting something at Macy’s for about $100 because of a sale and didn’t have the anxiety of a salesperson potentially judging me for wanting to wear masculine clothing.
Nicole rocks!!! She helped me pick out a suit for a work event in a couple weeks. Tommy Hilfiger suits were on sale and she measured everything required from neck size to arm length. Very professional and walked me to the dressing room and continued to make sure everything fit properly. Could not have been a better experience!
What terrible customer service we received renting suits for our wedding... Tossed around the whole store trying to rent suits and order our custom for the groom. Took HOURS to get measured... and we still had to come back the next day. Employees were not very knowledgeable on any topic. We expected some assistance from "professionals" in the decision process but no one there was helpful. The only enjoyable moment was ordering our custom suit with the store manager the following day. All other employees are completely useless- uninformed, unmotivated, no attention to detail. We waited a good half an hour before anyone acknowledged us while Picking up our custom suit we paid a very pretty penny for, and we were not even prompted to try it on or anything.... luckily we tried on at home and it was a DECENT fit could have been better. Managers are over worked and understaffed, they seem to care more about disciplining their workers than the customers they are trying to help. Will never rent or order from here again nor would I recommend anyone else to their stores.
Fantastic customer service! I had gone to another men's wearhouse for my wedding suit and was told I had a $50 voucher to use within 30 days. I ended up going to the greenwood location to use my voucher and for some reason the voucher couldn't be found. The ladies helping me told me not to worry about it and gave me the voucher. Thank you for the help!
Took my son to get fitted for a prom tux I ordered online. The Manager was assisting us I wish I would have gotten her name. She graciously helped correct some issues with the online order and fitted my son exquisitely. Absolutely best Customer Service I have encountered in some time.
They were very rude, profiled me as someone who couldn't afford to shop there, and didn't help me for a long period of time, even though I checked in at their kiosk, and it said I was the only person in line. If it wasn't for my brother's wedding I wouldn't be here. I recommend going anywhere else.
Went in for a last second suit jacket for Zoobilation at 5:15 the day of. Told the young guy working with blonde curly hair I needed a black jacket. He sized me up and had me out in 5 minutes. Great guy. Highly recommend.
What a horrible experience. Wanted a nice, tailored suit and explained that I was open to anything, I just wanted it to be nice. Wasn't greeted, wasn't helped, and the help I did receive was useless. I am a thin guy, and they put me in a big and tall shirt that could fit a whole second person in it. The buttons were 2ft away from my body and could be buttoned with my arms fully extended in front of me. They gave me a cheap pair of Haggar pants to try on with it. I told them that it was so ill-fitting that I thought they were joking with me. The shirt was so big that the tailor said he couldn't take enough material off without changing the shirt completely. Came back the next day to get remeasured and refitted. The second time around was much better. They failed to tell me my suit was complete, so I had to pick it up at the last second even though it had been done for two weeks. I will never return to any men's wearhouse and will recommend that others stay away.
