I love this store! Every time I have visited the store has been well stocked, well lit, the cashiers are pleasant and the prices are reasonable. Yesterday I went to buy vegetables for my garden. They are a good quality and the ones in trouble were discounted to 50 cents and still salvageable. I definitely prefer this store over Home Depot which is still a decent store but their service has deteriorated one time.
I would avoid buying lumber from this place. Menards has stopped displaying their lumber prices in the store and are now making customers scan a QR code to get the price. This is a poor attempt to get customers to download their app. This is inconvenient for customers and whoever thought of this idea did not have the customers best interest in mind. It is okay to have a scan and buy system, however, the price should be displayed in the store. Update: The response given by Menards is disingenuous. It has been given verbatim to other dissatisfied customers previously. I am asking that prices are displayed in the store without having to scan a QR code. This is a corporate issue and not something that a stores general manager is going to fix. This is a poor choice that Menards has made that inconveniences the customer.
This stores delivery process is terrible. They say one thing then deliver on wrong dates or can’t place it in the right spots. Pay over $150 for deliver and I still have to do all the work. Will go to Home Depot from now on. Waste of time.
Packed on Sundays, great selection of flowers. You can drive your vehicle into the outdoor area to directly load heavy bulk items like bricks or mulch into your vehicle
They are so much better than Walmart or Jewel for outdoor plants. The Walmart was the worst in my opinion 1/3 of the plants should be in the trash.. Plus Menards loaded the heavy things into my car as I am Handicapped.
My wife says this is my home away from home because I go there so much. The good thing about that is I know where everything is . Prices are as good or better than all other hardware type home improvement stores plus they usually have 11% rebate going on. Note: Rebate is like a gift card that you have to mail in for, it's not instant.
Great selection in the garden center, but we had to use flash lights to see anything.
Great hardware store that has quite a different selection than Lowe's and Home Depot. Worth checking out if you need more than the mainstream items those other two stores have in stock.
Great value home hardware store including landscape materials.
It's 2023, and they have clean yet out of touch bathrooms, the men's bathroom remains clean as usual but somehow they didn't get the memo that air hand dryers spread bacteria and viruses by a order of magnitude over paper towels and if you're going to stick to air dryers could you at least have working ones? There are 2, but 1 doesn't work, and the other has the blow capacity of an old dog's flatulence. Nothing says buy stuff from us to fix your house than a place that has broken stuff of their own.
