Jennifer Menassa Kirwan, AIA, is the Principal and Owner of Menassa Architecture, LLC. She has practiced architecture for over 16 years throughout the Washington DC area.
Jenny received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University and her Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1999, where she graduated with high honors. She worked at Allies and Morrison Architects in London, England upon graduation and returned to the United States in 2000 and worked at Lucas Associates in Baltimore, Maryland. From 2002 to 2005 she was employed at Muse Architects in Washington, DC, and then Cox, Graae + Spack Architects from 2005 until 2014. In 2014 she established her own business, Menassa Architecture, LLC which focuses on custom residential and commercial architecture.
Menassa Architecture, LLC is a full service architectural firm which specializes in architectural design, custom residential projects, renovations, additions, adaptive re-use of buildings, interior architecture, historic preservation, and boutique commercial projects.
Jenny is known for her ability to listen to her clients and respond with thoughtful and unique design solutions that meet and exceed her clients’ needs. She believes that the most successful architecture responds thoughtfully to its context and improves the client’s quality of life in ways that they never expected. She approaches every project with these goals in mind.
