As a Licensed Professional Counselor my goal is to promote you to your healthy personal and spiritual growth. “Does your current behavior have a reasonable chance of getting you what you want now, and will it take you in the direction you want to go?" Whatever the answer is, I believe you have one expectation, peace of mind and soul. Please allow me this opportunity to support you in your journey to find your direction that is peaceful and healthy. I have experience in, group therapy and individual therapy with clients. I counsel to clients with various issues such as, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, grief, stress/anger management, trauma and mood disorders. My approaches are Eclectic therapy and Person Centered. A Person Centered Approach, the focus is on you, which will encourage you to empower and motivate yourself to your full potential all while in a warm, empathic, unconditional positive regard, and nondirective environment. An Eclectic approach allows us to see value in several different approaches and apply the best of each to enhance your growth. When we work together, we can look at your current behavior to evaluate for changes, explore decision-making strategies, and to discover hidden qualities that will inspire independence in your life. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University of Michigan. My undergraduate degree in Counseling/Psychology was earned at Rochester College of Michigan. I am a State of Michigan Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a professional membership with the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association (mmhca). Change is not gong to be easy but you do have choices and alternatives, together we can find your destination to person growth and change, one step at a time.
