Found this little place to grab food to go. Saw the other reviews and thought, why not?!? The meals don't come with rice or noodles so make sure to order them separately. I got the garlic rice and adobo chicken with the pork egg rolls as an appetizer. The egg rolls are tasty, to go not as crunchy but delicious. I personally didn't need the sauce. The rice by itself is flavorful - savory garlicky yumminess. The chicken adobo is in a sauce that you know was cooked in love. Really enjoyed this meal and look forward to trying more! My friend tried the mongolian beef and that was a little too sweet for my personal taste but delicious
This is my favorite dish that I always get whether dine in or to go. I just love the taste of it. It’s called sweet and sour Pampano. My husband likes most of their food too. This is our favorite Filipino restaurant as well. They are very nice people and very service oriented. I’ve tried their kakanin, but we’ve found someone that better suited our taste.
The food was nice sized and presented nicely on plates, but everything really needed salt and seasoning. The grocery has no prices so it’s like a surprise to know how much anything is!! So that’s highly inconvenient to know if it’s over priced. They do offer shipping of boxes, but you can find that cheaper in other areas. Overall, just an Okay place. My mouth wasn’t left wanting more and I didn’t buy anything because I didn’t want to keep asking how much is this. :
This is a grocery, store bakery, and small restaurant. The food is very good and authentic Filipino food. It is a nice quiet spot to catch a meal and grab some food to make meals in the future. It is clean and the service was great.
So really a 4.5 but rounding in favor of the restaurant because it is worth checking out... and you know math. Half market half restaurant the food was what every foodie hopes to find in a hole in the wall. we enjoyed each dish that we ordered but the standout is the sizzling pork sisig! With the garlic rice it was something to come back for. I am not Filipino and suggest doing some research of the menu if you aren't either. The names are unfamiliar but the food is great! Will note that the place is run by what appears to be a husband and wife. As such the service can fall behind. The market is also worth checking out if you want to make some Filipino food too.
enjoyed the shop. great to have a more authentic phillipino shop nearby. although for me 28min away. I will still drive there to shop.Food: 4/5
This is our go to place for catering. We've ordered a whole pig lechon and other staple filipino food and always have been very very happy. Yes it is a store and restaurant. If you've never been to an Asian store/restaurant prepare to be overwhelmed by the tiny size and close quarter seating. Culturally, this place is very typical of a filipino store as there are balikbayan boxes boxes filled with items that filipino families pack for their loved ones at home waiting at the front door. Definitely not American...so don't expect it! I'll be back.
Love coming here with my mom--definitely get the crispy pata and/or sisig! Bought 50 lumpia for a work potluck today and everyoneee was asking where I got them. They included the sauce on the side too <3 Thanks Mercel & team!
CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE!!! we bought something that was 4 months expired not knowing until we ate one and it tasted gross, we bring it back and ask for a refund and the old woman gave so much attitude about it sayin "just go get another one" and there wasn't even the original product, when we said we don't want another one, and there isn't one anyway she gave our refund without looking at us and gave us the most attitude, if you don't want to give refunds, don't sell expired product!
The old lady not helpful . Never met the owner. Needs better customer service .
