I always have a good experience at this place plenty of room for backing no overnight it is just inside the port area depending on what time your delivery is will determine which entrance they want you to use but the Guards seem pretty cool

If you were scheduled for 5 a.m. , just forget about it... They take their friends first, and after that you...in case you get upset, they don't even care. Just wait 2 hours to get a dock and probably 3 more to get unloaded. I was the 2nd person at the check-in

The Receiving Department For Truck Drivers Not Good At All !!! For truck drivers making deliveries there, beware!! This place is a nightmare!! Not only are they slow at unloading & receiving loads. They have all the drivers sign in then sit for hours in a small area at a picnic table. And if you’re not there present when they call your name, they cross you out! The fact is that many of us are road drivers with multiple stops. We should be resting in our trucks! And it’s ridiculous & inconsiderate that they have is sit at a picnic table for hours because they’re too lazy to take our cellphone numbers. And call us when a door is available!! This place is at the top of the food chain of one of the worse places to deliver!!! I’ve informed my warehouse to at best never send me there ever again! At worse, only send me there if it’s my last stop of the day!

Quick and easy to get to and get out. It's in the Riviera Beach Port vicinity so you will have to comform to Port Authority regulations. The cooler opens at 5 a.m. and they let you in around 4-4:30 a.m.. You will need either your TWIK card or official i.d. to get in. Pick a door on the East end of the building and go in to give your paperwork. Usually in and out within 30min hut if FDA is on site it can take a couple hours.

So here's the thing with Merchants. They recently hired all new people, fired them and hired more. I've been delivering to them there for 15 years but I try to tell them something, it's, "What do I know?". The new people are still learning so it takes a while. It's like, they're fixing it but they broke it in the first place. A 3,4 or maybe sometimes even a 5 hour wait is not out of the ordinary.

Easy enough to deal with. Inside Port Authority check point, if you have TWIC then even easier. Parking available so you can arrive early, just can't park over night.
