Our fault for finding ourselves in the area in the middle of bike week with no reservations for hotel stays. After many calls we found this place which charged us $65 for a tent space. We put our tents up and enjoyed a good sleep until 4am when someone's car alarm went off for 30min minimum. Then the birds started at 5am.
This is one of the cleanest campgrounds we have been to! The sites are huge and have so much privacy with your own table, trash can and fire pit. There’s a cute little store, arcade room, TV/library room and of course our favorite, the pool and hot tub! We loved this campground!
Spacious clean site, campground is well- managed, staff was always available to answer questions. Very quiet place with no activities, which is what we look for. Good indoor pool and hot tub.
Overall the campground was nice. Although we had site 219 which looked at a maintenance building unfortunately so avoid that site. The sites were nicely wooded and spaced apart. They had a playground, basketball hoop, swimming pool and a dog park. To get in it’s gated. Check in office isn’t directly in front it’s a bit of a drive into the place to get to office. When you book if it’s less than 6 nights you aren’t assigned a site until you arrive which I didn’t like. Even with gps it wasn’t easy to find. I would go back.
First time staying here and it was lovely. The sites are huge. The next-door neighbor that was staying in their cabin was super nice, friendly & offered us some of his wood. They also have the cleanest bathrooms I have come across while camping. I can't wait to go back!
Not far from the lakes and a really nice campground. Wooded, semi private. Can’t see your neighbors and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Nice dog area.
Just stayed here for 4 nights over July 4th weekend. Stayed here as a kid 20 years ago but this was my first time back with my own RV. Friendly staff, reasonably priced rates, and awesome wooded extra large sites.
Stayed for 100th anniversary of bike week and had a great time. Campground is clean and well maintained. My site was pretty private... I will be back...
We've been going here for a few years now. Quick access to highway and many NH outdoor activities. They do allow snowmobiles and bikes with trails leaving right out of camp.
Problem with water system is resulting in Legionnaire’s disease. Boston Globe 3/23/2023: Legionnaire’s outbreak linked to N.H. campsites By Travis Andersen, Globe Staff New Hampshire public health officials have linked a pair of campgrounds in Meredith, N.H., to an outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease that sickened five people between fall 2021 and January, officials said Tuesday. All five were hospitalized, according to a statement from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, and all had stayed at the Meredith Woods and Clearwater Campground complex before getting sick. They all recovered. “Anybody choosing to stay at this facility should be aware of the ongoing outbreak investigation and potential risk for exposure to Legionella bacteria through the facility’s water system,’’ said Dr. Benjamin Chan, the state epidemiologist.
