The Meriden-Ozawkie Area Chamber of Commerce exists as “a member driven organization that promotes economic growth and a progressive community image.”
We are convinced that it is to your benefit to be an active member of the Meriden-Ozawkie Area COC. The Chamber helps member businesses by...
1) promoting their business through Chamber activities,
2) enhancing their network of key business contacts,
3) developing our community through meaningful service, and
4) supporting the creation of strong local businesses in the community.
New this past year, a different chamber business was promoted each month in a special “Spotlight” advertisement in The Vindicator newspaper. (This ad will continue at no cost to the members, highlighting one member business every time it runs.) Monthly meetings (held the third Thursday of the month at the Golden Pizza Community Room) provide insight into local economic activity and the opportunity to network with and learn from area business leaders. Additional opportunities for networking, business promotion, and community development come through events such as the annual Chamber of Commerce golf tournament (this year’s tournament benefited the Meriden Park Project), Chamber pancake feeds (proceeds fund 4 annual chamber scholarships), and the fall “Trunk or
Treat” (in which over 20 businesses and over 500 area students and their families participate).
Chamber membership continues to be one the most affordable and cost-effective ways of building a healthy business environment in Jefferson County. Membership dues are only $60 annually for businesses with 1-5 employees and just $90 annually for a business with 6 or more employees. Individual (non-business) memberships are also available with annual dues of $30.
