Jackie Killoran
Jackie was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and moved to Dexter, Michigan at an early age. Dexter is a small town about 8 miles from Ann Arbor, home of the U. of Michigan Wolverines. Jackie grew-up attending Michigan football games with her Dad and eventually sold programs at the games. Jackie moved to Fresno, CA when she was 20 and worked for Taco Bell for 16 years (her dad & uncle were the local Taco Bell franchisee's). When her family sold the 20 Taco Bell stores they owned back to Taco Bell in 1990, Jackie was hired by Taco Bell Corp. to be the Regional trainer for new store managers in Central California. Jackie kept this position until 1998 when she went to work for Smith Barney as a Financial Consultant.
She met her husband, Merv, who also works for Reid Real Estate, during her 3 years at Smith Barney. Jackie started her real estate career in 2001 and handles all types of residential listings and sales. Jackie spent 3 years on the original marketing staff (pre-construction) for the downtown Bremerton Harborside Condominiums. Jackie loves people and has a fun-loving, out-going personality and enjoyes life. Jackie is very active in both the State Association of Realtors (Past State Director and currently serves on the Legislative Steering Committee and Finance Committee) and the local Kitsap County Association of Realtors as she was elected by a vote of her peers to be the President in 2011. Jackie has both a B.S. in Economics and a M.B.A. degreee in Business Administration. Jackie has the education, knowledge and experience to handle your real estate needs!
Merv & Jackie are both avid college football fans. They also spend time whenever possible with their grandson, Corbyn and granddaughter, Marlee.
Merv Killoran
Merv started his real estate career in 1979 with Reid in Bremerton. He opened the Siverdale office in 1984, and was Branch Manager from 1984-1987. The Top Agent in the Company for 16 years. BA in Finance from Eastern Washington University (1970). Merv has obtained the prestigous CCIM designation, the Ph.D of commercial real estate. This signifies an expert in Commercial-Investment real estate. Merv was the 1990 President of the Kitsap Commercial Investment Brokers (KCIB). Merv left the real estate industry temporarily for three years and worked as a Financial Consultant for Smith Barney (1998-2001) where he met his wife, Jackie.
His area of concentration is Land Sales & Development, Residential and all Commercial-Investment brokerage. Merv's wife, Jackie, is also an agent in the Silverdale office and the President-Elect in 2011 for the KCAR. Jackie, who has a M.B.A., specializes in pre-owned residential and with her business background (16 yrs with Taco Bell), Merv and Jackie can literally handle any real estate need for their clients. Merv has two sons, Corby and Aaron, who both graduated from Central Kitsap High Schools (CK and Klahowya) and both attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg. Merv has coached high school football (CK & Klahowya), played professional football in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and was a member of the Silverdale Rotary Club for 16 years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Kitsap County. Hobbies include basketball at the YMCA, puttering around his yard at home and traveling.
