Mesquite Restaurant and Sports Bar

My family & I LOVE Mesquite. It's been our favorite breakfast/brunch spot for years. It feels like home every time we go. One of the owners, Cindy, always remembers our orders & is super quick. Food always tastes awesome & we're never disappointed. My kids also love Cindy & love the place, as well. They're always begging to go!

This little hidden gem is in an industrial park. If you blink you'll miss it. Walking in I felt I was back in time. Quaint little diner like atmosphere. The servers are super sweet and check on you on more than a regular. I can't remember when I've seen a $4 breakfast sandwich that wasn't fast food. Very, very affordable. My plate steak and eggs was under $10. There's a bar in the back but they don't open until 9am on the weekends and 11am during the week. We showed up at 8:30 and our server told us that it didn't matter if the bar was closed, they start serving cocktails at 6am. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because my steak was overcooked. I suggest you go down 1 degree if you want it to your liking. If you're tired of the overpriced drinks and food and just want to take a break from the fast lane, this is the place to go. I know I'll be back.

This is truly the most amazing bar! I hesitate to leave my review because this bar is like being in your backyard with your closest friends! I'm not sure I want to share this experience that may attract a crowd. The owner of this bar was gracious enough to introduce herself. They are personable and the prices are great.

Great Place, Good Food and Friendly Atmosphere. The old school jukebox on the bar side has country and rock. The bar is well stocked and has draft beer. Plenty of TVs on the walls and a pool table make this a good spot to waste a morning away. Our favorites: green chili pork, breakfast sandwich, BLT and the green tea and whiskey cokes.

I went there do to the high ratings. I took my father and he actually loved his Vegetable Skillet and I ordered the French Toast breakfast it came with two bacon and one random egg which btw was cooked to perfection. The one young guy who seated us was friendly our older waitress I think she needs to improve her customer service skills the older guy who collected our money was friendly. I honestly do not know why they have such high ratings. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty so I don’t know why we wouldn’t have received some of this “great” service and “delicious” food? The food was good but honestly I could have made that French toast and the bacon was not the best I’ve had; my dad loved his skillet just because he’s never had one before. I think I could have received better food at the local Denny’s and I avoid that place like the plague lol anyway I guess if it’s close to you and you really don’t have any other place to go then have at it. I won’t be returning. I gave it three stars because my dad enjoyed his food. Thank You

This will be my first 5 star. I was in search for a good Bloody Mary and I found it and so much more. I actually drove by it the first time. You have to be looking for it. This place is split in half, with one half being a nostalgic simple restaurant and the other half being an sports bar. Both with their own entrances and both with its own attuide only to share the same kitchen. They tell you before hand that there bloody Mary is spicy and it is but it is amazing. One of the best I have ever had. All menu items available til 2pm for us late risers.

Great home cooked food and a lot for the price! I don't know why some of the reviews aren't very good. Everyone was great, courteous and the food came out fast and hot! I liked the fact that the owners knew almost everyone who walked in and made everyone, including me, feel at home! My kind of breakfast place! I highly recommend and will be back!

I like this restaurant as a nice place to meet an old friend and his wife and update. Food was very good and we weren't rushed to leave after eating. Staff and management were always friendly and near when we needed something.

Was good food took way to long to get service. The don't itemize the bill or bring it to your table. When your done eating the send you to a register and give you a total price. Felt like I was overcharged and both receipts had no items on it. Just a weird experience.

Love this place !!! Food always excellent. Feisty owner/server always have a good banter.....
