Mesquitery Restaurant

Had amazing salmon with the chef special parmesian topping, highly recommended! Devoured it. Finished with a cinnamon apple oat bake. Also devoured. Will stop again next time we are through Hood River.Food: 5/5

While we were in Oregon we stopped for dinner in Hood River at the Mesquitery. They were able to seat our party of 6 without a reservation which was great. Service was fast and friendly. Server helped us with menu and choices. I only took the one photo of my dinner special of scallops. They were cooked well and served over mushrooms, pico de gallo and with avocado. I ordered steamed veggies as the side, but these were not really cooked at all. This is a trend I'm noticing lately and a bit of a pet peeve. Trying to eat healthy, cook the veg!! Other menu items were all very tasty. Pork tenderloin with baked potato, fish tacos, Frisco burger, steak salad and asian chicken salad were all enjoyed. Didn't have time for dessert but the options looked very good. Atmosphere was cool and there was awesome artwork on display and for sale.

While in Hood river we visited on a busy Friday night. Waited in the bar for thirty minutes. Cool, hip interior,lots of locals and vacationers. Had the rib eye steak with sauted mushrooms and a salad. Very cool marbled piece of meat. Attention waitress, go!

My husband is working at Hood River. My house is located Vancouver WA He finally found the best steak house-the Mesquitery. Whenever my family visits this restaurant, we are satisfied with food.Food: 5/5

The steak is seasoned and grilled to perfection. This restaurant and Winchester Steakhouse in Wyoming, are the best steaks in the United States. I have been trying to find a great steakhouse in the Pacific Northwest. I finally found it! I was ready to give up but I am so glad I tried one last time!

This is by far my favorite place to eat on special nights. The food is always outstanding. The steaks and salmon are always perfect and when we go we ALWAYS get the wings and Caesar salad. You'd be surprised how easy places can ruin a Caesar and this is by far the best one I've ever had! The service there is by far one of the best in the Gorge. Ladies are always so attentive and friendly, and when there's a wait and we don't have kids with us, we like to sit in the bar. The male bartender is a hit on his own, always a good time.

Amazing food. The filet was cooked just right and was absolutely amazing. The service was amazing and everyone that came to assist us was great and very helpful. We would absolutely eat here again!

Greated and seated quickly. Our server was attentive to our needs. I had the strip steak and my wife had the beef tenderloin sandwich. Both were excellent. A great way to spend my birthday.Food: 5/5
