Metra Tinley Park Station

Awesome train station. It's designed like a clock and houses a wonderful Cafe. Tinley Park has a history deeply intertwined with the railroad so it is fitting to have such a nice station. Only knock is that is closed early and on Sundays so you have to wait outside for the train

Do you need to go into the city and don't want to deal with the havoc of downtown traffic? Do you need to commute for work or school and don't want to pay high parking fees? Your solution is taking the Metra. They are the answer to your problem. Comfortable seats, mostly nice stations, conductors are polite an professional. It is on time and reliable unless it is delayed due to bad weather or mechanical issues, otherwise you can count on it %100.
