Great Transit center for transportation next to the Gold line
It's such a cute area! There are loads of restaurants down the main drag, lots of parking, lovely murals and gardens, town Square has a new take on the quintessential clock, and it's all so clean!
Plenty of free parking after 10AM in the permit are starting on the second floor, but be sure to read signs & don't park in a 3 hour zone.
This station is next to a large Target store. You can shop there and take the train to go back to another city. If you walk north to Sieera Madre road, and male a right, you will see the Pioneer Park. From there there's a mile long path for walking. The view is so beautiful that you will come back. There are also 12 parks close to the path. It took me 2 afternoons to have visited all of them. The total time spent was 8 hours.
Where in the heck do you park for one day? I live around here and usually I park at APU/CITRUS or Irwindale station and they all have one day parking Pass for $3. And here they’re all 3 hour parking limits or monthly permits. Why do you make it so complicated? Probably wanting to give people tickets.
If you depend on this train for a commute to work, expect to be late 50% of the time! Train is always late, the claim it's supposed to be here every 6 minutes during morning and afternoon hours is a false claim. The train is always late, so if you want to use the metro, give yourself extra time and hopefully you won't get to work late!
During the day you are fine, once the sunsets your feeling of safety and security diminishes by the hour
It's a very nice station in a nice location but there is no place to park close by for longer than three hours ... a little bit impractical ... alot, actually.
I get there early, always find parking. Feels safe. I recommend taking gold line, very nice ride.
