Metro Red/Orange Lines - North Hollywood Station Park & Ride (North Lot)

The Red Line takes you from North Hollywood to Union Station. Although it's one of the dirtier maybe that's not quite the right word lines, with a bit more trash and older cars and it is almost almost all underground it's still a great way to get around LA. I often switch off at Metro Center and take the Blue Line south to Long Beach or Staples Center. Since I live in the West SFV, I also take the Orange Line Bus-way from Woodland Hills and connect to the Red Line in North Hollywood. The LA Metro continues to expand and I hope more and more people use. The price is right and it's a big stress reducer.

The Metro workers were helpful..the ride convenient but there is a scary subterranean homeless and methed out population that sleep on the trains and scream at anyone ..not a ride for kids or the faint of heart .Oh LA

Just make sure you're careful when you go down into the Train. And don't use the train late at night; especially if you are a woman, if you do use it, take someone with you!

Good parking and drop off in the lot off chandler. Plenty of security. Plenty of strangers and freaks. Business as usual for a subway station in el los angeles

There was plenty of parking here. The lot was full, but they have made additional parking on the side. It was way cheaper to park here and take the underground rail to Universal Studios. I didn't have any issues here and I would park here again. This is a great way to save some money on parking for Universal Studios parking fees.

Need to really clean up this Red line, too many things to list, it does beat sitting in traffic, just need to be aware of your surroundings

Quick ride. Not crowded between 11-12pm

The station is underground like a Subway so when you enter at first you can be hesitant because they don't have a lot of informative signs good thing I was asking around the reason I added stars is that security are all around and they had with you into the red line and are very helpful which makes it a safer experience. It's very confusing when you try to get a ticket you need to have a card that you purchase from the machine and then you have to add money to one trip or two then you can top up and make a choice using the alphabet buttons that are guided on the screen that prompts you on what to do and then you hit finish.

MTA bus, micro, and red line are my favorite way to get from point A to point B.

It’s…definitely not the station Metro spends money on to keep clean or safe. Gets the job done, but if you’re alone and female, be alert. The other red line stations are much nicer and better kept, it’s a shame this one can’t have the same attention. They love having an assload of cops around to do nothing though, that’s for sure.
