MGMC Diabetes & Nutrition Education Center is committed to providing quality diabetes and nutrition education.
The Mary Greeley Medical Center Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center is a resource for people with diabetes or nutrition related diagnoses and their families. The Center provides a comprehensive diabetes management program for individuals newly diagnosed with diabetes or known diabetes. Full nutrition assessment is available for individuals with any disease or condition that may be impacted by nutrition status.
The center is certified by the American Diabetes Association and licensed by the state of Iowa, serving children and adults with Type I, Type II or gestational diabetes.
The Mary Greeley Medical Center Diabetes & Nutrition Education Center is committed to providing quality diabetes education to all persons with diabetes and their families.
Through a team approach, the educator will teach skills of diabetes self-management that promotes health, well-being and the prevention of long term complications.
The educators will act as a resource for the community and other health care providers in the management of diabetes.
