You can tell they spend a lot of money on that building it has marble in it. It's absolutely gorgeous it looks like an old mansion. It also has beautiful staircase.
It is a really great looking building that shows off older style architecture however I did not go inside as I only gave a friend a ride. I would give it 5 Stars however I didn't get the chance to go inside. Totally Beautiful though and awesome to see in person.
The entire area is rich with history. Just the reuse of the county jailhouse exterior stones to create a current day fountain is a note of interest. Easy access from the bike trail. A great place to rest. Nearby is the public library open on Sunday, a public park next to the public library, two free or donation museums, historic homes and views of the river. Within walking distance is the historic circle with shops and restaurants.
.the court house is a great part of history and culture. Building is full of craftmanship.very well put together. But we have maggots running the show which makes it not so pleasant. But don't let that stop you from stopping in and enjoy what your taxes pay for .so remember we the people own Troy ohio not the lazy government workers and there gang of police officers. So enjoy your town. Lots of great history to enjoy

The parking system needs to be fixed. There shouldn't be 2-hour parking in every spot. I've been here twice for the same case and both times the person being charged couldn't be located. This is ridiculous.
The miami county justice system is a failure! They do not provide nor require any quality in patient or out patient treatment or care to addicts/alcoholics! They have no sense of restorative justice, nothing that helps you better yourself! They simply throw you behind bars for a short period of time and then you are back on the streets with no help for your problems! They are not about helping just giving you a class one time then jail for 6 months. Then your freedom and problems are thrown at you at once! Goodluck
