What an incredibly cool art museum! It's not very large, but don't let that keep you from going! The collection is not only super diverse, but extensive as well! They also have a neat personal collection of Leica cameras! It's handicap accessible and you'll need about 1.5 hours. This place has great art, in and outside, so go and enjoy!
I went to do a craft thing I was invited to with my mom group. It was fun and the staff was nice but I don't appreciate how there was a lady taking pictures of my toddler without asking. The craft photo was not the issue there was a woman taking photos on her cell phone. I called to have her remove it and as far as I know she did but it just doesn't sit well with me that she felt it was okay to do without even asking as I don't post my 3 year old on any social media. And although they did end up deleting it for me it just doesn't sit well with me and makes me not want to go back.
Chrissy was so nice and helpful! I enjoyed looking at the new exhibit and was pleased to see they had acquired a silhouette piece by Kara Walker. It's a small museum, but I like that because you are able to read about and reflect on all the art currently on display in a way you just can't in a larger place.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
Small, quaint museum with some nice pieces. Took us around 45 minutes to see everything.
This was a neat little gem that was empty on Family Weekend. Too bad, because there's some really neat art inside. The gallery is set up strangely with an odd flow so you gave to walk all the way back through the gallery to get out. If you're heading to Miami, set side an hour or hour and a half to visit. The exhibits change, so it's worth a stop in! The lady at the desk was also super friendly and helpful about other art opportunities on campus, which is really cool for my music major who also loves to draw and sculpt.
The art museum is a great place to go and relax. The staff are super friendly and are willing to help you if need be. I've visited many times and each time I learn or see something new every time. If you want to see some beauty and enjoy art from around the world. This is then place to go to.I've gone on a date even here. It was quite fun..
Was here for a tour with a group, and it was fantastic! The art was beautiful and the staff who took us on the tour were very nice and explained the backstory of the art very well! I totally recommend going here!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I love the cool art work outside can't wait to get a look at the inside. I went inside got stopped at the door and told I couldn't take pictures inside without filling out paperwork in it wasn't allowed to be put on the internet I will not go in here and I recommend you do not come here they say it's free to the public but if you can't do what you want with your own pictures when you take pictures inside it's not free is it
We took a tour, with a big group of ours, and it was great! The museum is full, of cool stuff and art and the tour guide is super knowledgeable. I love going here!
Good little museum that had a more robust collection of pieces by well known artists than you might think. It's not very big, which makes it an easy thing to get through and enjoy without being overwhelmed.
