The Advocate You Need
Attorney Michelle A. Barry comes from an extremely diverse background that has prepared her well for her career in family law. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida, attorney Barry pursued a career in her lifelong passion of martial arts and worked for several years as a stage and television stuntwoman. She then returned to school and earned her law degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville.
Attorney Barry's first job out of law school was serving as a prosecutor in Central Florida where she handled criminal law cases including domestic violence, drug crimes and DUI. She gained invaluable experience in trial preparation and litigation during this time. In private practice, attorney Barry has worked in family law, criminal defense, and estate planning. She immediately recognized the need for effective, compassionate counsel in family law cases and has dedicated her practice to it ever since.
She prides herself on the personalized attention she offers every client and handles every aspect of your case herself. She is committed to helping you obtain a fair settlement in your divorce and works hard to negotiate an agreement without the stress and expense of a lengthy court battle. She will not hesitate to go to court, however, if that's what it takes to get the settlement you deserve.
