Since 1947, Michigan Barber School has been the leader in the Barber-Styling training in and around the Detroit Metropolitan Area.

Description

The Michigan Barber School’s primary educational objective is to prepare students for entrance or advancement in the Barber/Styling occupation, requiring technical and/or career oriented competencies and skills. The school’s educational objectives are career oriented and provide students with the necessary competencies, skills, and level of education for employment in the Barber/Styling field of study. The Michigan Barber School must ensure that all required courses and assistance are available to enable students to complete their program of study. – Section II (A)(7) of the Standards of Accreditation. Michigan Barber School is Accredited by ACCSC

The service I got here last week was extremely horrible. The haircut was embarrassing and I left out with patches in my head and the “instructor” stated that he didn’t t see anything wrong with the haircut, smh. Lastly, the back of my neck has broken out badly due to the haircut, I have scratches and sores on my neck. This place did not seem professional and Unfortunately I could never refer anyone to this establishment.
I've been going there off & on, since I was in My late 20's & I'm Officially a Senior Citizen in May! I took My Grand's, whom are now taking their Sons! What a Great Tradition in Detroit & easy to get to on the ! Considering the Quality u get 4 the , Please realize, this, Most r Young Students! That said, don't 4get 2 Tip Them, Most Will Earn It! I'm 58 years old and I have been a customer at Michigan Barber School going back to the days when my father brought my brothers and me when we were young boys. I am perfectly at ease with these young students developing their craft with my preferred hair style Bald Fade. I can honestly say that 8.5 out of every 10 haircuts are top shelf, first class and deluxe supreme. However, on the rare 1.5 occasions, the instructors are always available to assist the students and they very proactive.
First time going to the Michigan Barber College and letting a student shave my head. He was professional and did a great job and I will go back. I had been shaving my head for 20 years and decided to let someone else do it for me great job.
At 8:20 on a Thursday morning who cares about these students ? Delta!
I received an excellent haircut. Social distance was maintained, and temperatures are taken upon entry. Staff and students are friendly and make for a good experience.
Great school for new opportunities in life. A good foundation on the profession of Barbering with good ambience and people that want to see you succeed. Great staff and program that's making differences in the communities around.
This school has had very good instructors in the past. Very thorough in the way they teach student barbers how to deal with potential clients. I haven't been there in a long time. But I hope that it has kept the integrity that it was known for before the untimely passing of Mr. Forest Green.
It was good they test you for covid-19 at the door check your temperature and everything they don't charge and the place is really clean inside &, cool nice environment is best place to get your haircut and shave and a razor shave too Best valve in the city of Detroit Hands Down
