I had an amazing experience here! It is a very uneasy feeling to deal with debt in general. They were able to give me a loan to consolidate my credit card debt painlessly! I would highly recommend them to anyone who may be struggling with debt or just in need of a personal loan.
They have been my credit union for over 15 years. They always have treated me respectfully, never had an issue with them. Loans can sometimes be hard to acquire from them, but they are just being responsible in not allowing you to spend more then you can afford, so for that they have my respect.
I applied for an auto loan at the main branch on Garfield, and the guy didn't even call me back to inform me of the status of the loan. 4 hours later, I just happened to stop by another location, only to find out I was denied because the vehicle I was interested in was a commercial vehicle. This was not professional, in my opinion, and I have great credit. I guess this credit union doesn't want business because no alternatives were suggested because no one had the professionalism to call back.
Do not get loan through them. They have been nothing but difficult from the start. And still months later we still have issues. Having to go back to the bank multiple times. And then they get thier members wrong. And that's literally thier job is with numbers.
The guy who called can’t remember his name was completely unprofessional and rude on the phone. Gut feeling said STAY AWAY
We went in today to sign loan paperwork. The young lady who helped us was extremely rude and unprofessional. We have never had to do this type of transaction, and we're given different information from our loan originator, so we were confused and had questions. The lady we delt with was short with us and was not very patient to help answer our questions. I am very sorry we chose this financial institution for our loan. Never again if this is the treatment good customers receive!
Have had a credit card and another loan that i paid off with this CU for a good 6 years and the last couple times I've applied for a loan here I've been denied while other credit unions were willing to work with me after being denied here. They are not member friendly to me. They dnt even offer alternatives or ways that you can move forward to eventually be approved. Just a denial and then bye! Need to work on customer service and educating members on finances especially after being denied people need to know what options they have.
Love this credit union it's way better than the big banks.
I would not suggest this credit union for a loan because the company they use for credit scores seems to be more than fifty points lower than other credit unions such as Genisys. I'm not sure if everyone would have that situation but we did and though westill had good credit they wanted a cosigner and collateral for the loan.
Payed off my loan, had a balance and nolonger lived in the area. They would not send my money to me without coming into the branch. Over two years fees wiped out most of balance and sent the rest to the state after charging me $50 to do so. I have $20 dollars with the state of over $280. Not doing business with these there's again.
