Went to Mid-Cape because I needed a 1"by 3" exterior pine board ripped to 2" wide. After two trips to the front desk and two trips to the lumber yard itself, I still couldn't find anyone that could help me. Very frustrating experience. We're talking one board ripped to 2". One person suggested I find a carpenter to do the job. A lot of nerve. The actual piece of trim board that I'm looking to replace is less than 3 feet long. Will never go to Mid-Cape again. Customer service is awful.
Very organized, very polite workers, price is not the best but they make it worth it with professionalism.
I purchased some French doors and had a wonderful experience. I had to laugh at some of the negative reviews......"My wife was due the next day......and they would not help......I am a builder". What was he doing sending his wife of nine months to go pick up fence panels! The prices are competitive considering you are supporting good local jobs. Update 7-15-18: just finished one of my roofs and was very happy with the materials they had.
Unbelievable customer service walked me to every product making sure I found what I needed went above and beyond 10 times better than Home Depot or Lowe’s customer service and you need something go here ask for Amy she’ll hook you up
Set up a consultation for a brand new kitchen with Kathleen. She did not show up to the appointment at the scheduled time and left a voicemail 30 minutes later saying she was “running late.” I called back within 3 minutes several times and got no response. Her voicemail was rude saying we did not give enough info even though it was the first appointment. Definitely not worth the hassle of rude customer service.
Went to Mid Cape because of their reputation. We ordered kitchen cabinets and although I do like my cabinets the customer service left a lot to be desired. The General Manger, Chad, was rude and the rest of the staff unhelpful when we had a few problems. For the price you pay I would have expected better service. I will not be recommending them to anyone. Save your money and ho somewhere else.
If I could post less than 1star I would Flim flam from the get go THEY screwed up and cost me 25%. I’m not done
I am having a new shed installed and went to Mid Cape to pick out roof shingles. I was trying to match something up with our house roof shingles as best I could. A nice employee sorry did not get his name asked if I needed any help. When I told him what I was looking for he told me he had just the guy to help me. “Andy” was quickly summoned and came to assist me. When I told him what I was looking for he asked me where I lived. I told him about 3 miles from the Dennis store and he asked if it was ok to go down and look at my roof. I said no problem. He also asked if it was ok to go onto the roof to get a good look. He gave me his phone number and said he would be in touch. Within an hour he called and told me what shingle he thought would work best. He even told me he went up on the roof to get a good look at how much wear there was on my existing house roof. He then said he would drop off a sample of his recommendation a little later in the day. Sure enough he showed up with a sample a little later. His selection was as close as you could get. Talk about going “ Above and Beyond”. Andy is the epitome of what the words “ Customer Service” mean. This was my first encounter with Mid Cape but certainly won’t be my last. Thank you Mid Cape for employing people who know how to take care of your customers.
We thought the window selection would be better. Paints too. Room for improvement at this home improvement place.
All about supporting the smaller businesses, but I’d rather go to Home Depot than this place. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!! Also, they charge to make a 10 second cut! $25/ 10 seconds =$150/60 seconds= $9,000/ 1 minute to cut ply wood. My opinion of this business is based on this fact, you can decide for yourself if its the kind of place that works for you.
