The dentist is awesome, he is amazing with the kids and great with their teeth care.. but the nurse could use some better manners. I get that this business is booming and it's a demanding dentist but guilty shaming parents is not okay. Life happens and we have to reschedule and also not every parent has the ability to drive an hour away and yet you think it's okay to guilty shame them for missing a appointment or reschedule cu what it make more work for you.. like what is your job anyways to do the paper, answer calls and reschedule appointments.. this doctor NEEDS BETTER NURSES that know how to treat and talk to parents!!! I should give this ONE STAR but you're lucky the dentist is awesome at his job to keep this stars!
This place is a joke. If I could leave a 0 rating I would. I had an appointment for my son and because I declined an earlier appointment with them they cancelled his extraction appointment. They stated that if he was sent to a specialist then that's the specialist he needs to see. And the "office manager" is a piece of work herself. She is very rude and nasty. She tried telling me that because I declined the sooner appointment that was not the reason for them canceling his future appointment. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I did not even make it into the appointment and I fear for anyone else they scam over.
Charged us almost $600 bucks to remove 4 baby teeth. The entire appointment lasted about 15 minutes…..pretty sad. We will not be returning. Also, the rude lady helping the dentist was not pleasant to my son who was very nervous.
Dr. John & staff have always treated my kids well and my kids love going there. We’ve been going for a few years and have only done routine visits cleanings, x-rays, etc.. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and we recommend them to our friends.
My 3 boys have been patients of Dr. John for years. They all started at the age of 2. He is so patient and fun with the kids! He’s a joy to the parents. The dental hygienists are great! The whole office is very caring and go above and beyond to make your experience a good one! I also love how they go out of their way to make sure we get cleanings scheduled all 3 kids at the same time which is such a time saver!!
I wouldn’t let them put my special needs under for a cleaning. She didn’t have cavities They told me over voicemail that She wasn’t allowed back because I said no to putting her under for a cleaning. They are rude! I wouldn’t waste my time here! He thinks he’s all that and a bag of chips. Putting it the nice way But look at the reviews! He’s horrible and the staff has gone to the pits also! We found a WONDERFUL dentist now! Don’t waste your time here
Here are several reasons we decided not to go here: A my daughter broke her tooth and we called and they said they weren't taking new patients. B We found someone else to look at the tooth, and they referred us back to Mid-Michigan Pediatric Dentistry--who was suddenly willing to take a new patient several hours later. That was annoying. C I was informed I could not go back with my 3 year-old daughter while she got her tooth fixed. Bottom line: I Googled "Ann Arbor pediatric dentist," found someone amazing, got the tooth fixed relatively drama-free several days later--while I held my toddler in my lap. Genesee County deserves better than we get is what I'm saying.
Excellent staff, and even better dentists. I am completely satisfied with my decision to bring my daughter here. I am a dental hygienist, so I am always nervous about working with dental professionals that I have never interacted with before. My three year old wants to go back, and even said she loves Dr. Aaron and his staff. To the person whose review stated they are not understanding, they give you paperwork that CLEARLY states that new patients who cancel their appointments for any reason will not be allowed to reschedule. They are an extremely busy office, and cancellations affect the rest of the day. I know from experience. At least they don't charge a $50-$75 missed appointment fee like other offices. Read your paperwork, then maybe you would be the one who is a little more understanding. Shame on you for giving an office a bad review because your reading comprehension sucks. You obviously dis not read any of the paperwork that was mailed to you prior to your appointment. Shame on you Nicole Brassaw as a parent for not reading it. I will recommend Mid Michigan Pediatrics to anyone with a child in need of dental treatment. I am so happy to have found an amazing office with amazing staff that I completely trust with my daughter.
Was not happy with my daughter experience. We found out she had an open cavity on her two front teeth and had a cavity between her back teeth. They wanted to pull her front teeth and when I told them no they refused to fix her cavity on her back teeth.
My girls do wonderful with Dr John. He's extremely good with the kids, caring and kind and explains what he's doing with them. The hygienists work well with the kids, and I'm very happy with their services.
