Mid & West art is located in the same building as Transitions Ramp Park (5616 Van Born Ct.) For those of you who have never been to the shop/park it is located off of Van Born just west of Telegraph (On the North side of Van Born). Their is a Schafer Bakeries is located in the same parking area as Transitions / Mid & West art.
Mid & West art started out as a team of 2 artist (From Detroit) who would frame their photography and charcoal drawings in canvas and sell them at the local first Friday events in Phoenix, AZ. Quickly one of the artists took up doing legal Street art in the Phoenix, AZ area.
When one of the artists relocated to the Detroit area and noticed that there were not many Street art shops that sold spray paint that was made for doing murals (Like the abundance of shops out west).
Mid&West art became a retail location to buy brands like Montana (Mtn - Spray paint, Ink, other products) and Ironlak (Paint). For now we stock a large assortment of paint, inks and other street art / art supplies. As Mid & WEST art grows we plan to offer shipping, delivery and other services.
