Midamerica Storage

We had an excellent experience with both the storage, Uhual rental and staff interactions at MidAmerica Storage. During our military move, it eased our minds to know our household items were close and secure. A huge thank you to Brandon for all his assistance and professionalism. Addressing the previous review in regards to masks, there are MULTIPLE signs posted around the facility stating that masks are mandatory upon entry into the office and during interaction with staff. As a privately owned business, this facility has every right to mandate masks on the property, and holds no responsibility to provide you a mask. Put on your big boy pants, stop being entitled and take accountability for yourself. Just as you believe you shouldn't have to wear a mask, they are just as in the right to require them from their customers. No one there is obligated to cater to you and your beliefs; it's their property, so they make the rules.

This is a great place to store your stuff. I've stored here several times over the years, and never had a problem. Everyone who works there is very helpful, and when I need a truck or trailer to move my belongings they have U-Hauls to rent. Plus, they are right across the road from Scott AFB.

Terrible service. I would have given this place 0/5 stars if it were possible to do so. “Brandon” he refused to give me his actual full name, which in and of itself is very unprofessional both denied me entry, and refused to even give a mask upon request. As a matter of conscience, I don’t wear them, but I was willing to make an exception if he would only provide one. Instead, he made me wait in the hot sun, and I had to make my father-in-law go instead because between the two of us there was only one mask. I don’t care what your politics are— this is a horrendously disrespectful way to treat customers. I will be reporting “Brandon” to whoever’s above him, and I hope he gets fired soon.

I rented a trailer from them. It was my first time using a car trailer and the employee was very thorough explaining the features and how to use the equipment safely. This seems like one of the few local U-Haul locations that keeps full car trailers on hand instead of just the dollys. Good place.

Very clean, reasonable prices, it’s secured! The staff is great!

Today I discovered at least 20 of our leveling blocks and battery was stolen from outside our camper. The employee said the cameras don't have sight where my spot is and I have to call the boss on Tuesday. I filed a police report. Apparently, not a good place!

Learned yesterday my new camper was stolen from Mid America Storage. I was assured walk arounds were conducted to verify everything was ok. I was never notified it was missing and when I asked where it was I was told I was logged correctly. They had to look at a different paper to find my info, so as far as I could tell my camper was not being tracked as I was told. I was offered not apology of any kind or any sense of help from Mid America Storage to discover what happened. I left even more confused than I was when I first discovered my camper was missing. Beware doing business. I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Great area nice units not bad on price either if you need a unit I would recommend this one
