Headquartered in Macon's historic Washington Memorial Library, Middle Georgia Regional Library services Bibb, Crawford, Jones, Macon, Twiggs, and Wilkinson Counties in Central Georgia. We are affiliated with Georgia PINES.

MGRL hosts thirteen library branches, the Genealogical & Historical Department, and Middle Georgia Archives.

Great place to check out books or find a quiet place to think. When starting up our mobile auto repair business a few years back we would frequent this library as a meeting place. These kinds of places are always important for growth in a community. Great book selection, access to computers and internet. Printing services are relatively cheap too. I also like that they host tabletop games every now and then. Highly recommend.
Great customer service. the staff was very helpful and patient. They had computer skills which helped with all simple problems. Guy up front was real nice and polite.
If you go here, you better not sit on the couches or chairs. 1 family member and 3 others I know picked up bed bugs from there. I have a very good friend who does pest control and I contacted him to see if there were any others who, like my family member, has been able to trace it to this place. There has been multiple complaints regarding this and they're still allowing street people to come take a rest out of the weather and deposit their pets on the furniture. They have yet to do anything about the problem so BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Great location, very kind, well trained, helpful staff, there a very large selection of books and information, lots of quiet spots, work stations, computers, separate and safe children's area, with security staff on hand. The environment is very inviting and warm everyone seems to feel at home excellent setting.

On my first visit I found the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was impressed with the amount of space available for reading and the number of computers available. I'm looking forward to discovering more about this place.
I needed a computer fast. I ducked in the Washington Library. Went and took care of my English comp paper. It was a while until I was able to get home, and I was able to get my business done. Mighty timely!
