Middlesex Hospital

I was seen last Sunday by ambulance, upon arrival I was in extreme pain in my ankle and foot. Upon arriving the attending nurse I did not remember her name but she stated she was from Louisville. I requested her to help me to change into a gown, she stated to me how got dressed before I arrived and told her I had a difficult time doing so. Rudely she stated "exactly ". And shut the door. Then the attending Doctor just referred me to my personal Doctor . No blood test as I requested. I will never forget the the awfulness to help .

HORRIBLE! My cell phone was taken by staff and “I was told they were locking it up in Nurses station” I was in a locked wing of hospital so patients have NO access! The next day the PCT came in and told me phone was gone and they were looking through belongings to look for it. Numerous staff said they looked. When the PCT brought my personal belongings there was only a charger. For a whole week I sat in hospital despite being told I did not belong ! Well after a week of cold food which I had to send back daily I demanded to go home. Mind you I had no money or cards so they had to order me an Uber. I was told br psychiatric nurse security was reviewing tape I never got any answers and when I questioned no one came back ! This was EVERYDAY! So on day of discharge I asked for a letter explaining my phone was stolen. I was told by the social worker and behavioral health staff with that a letter would be provided. All staff apologized that this happened so the whole floor is a witness. I was told also by SW and BHC that they spoke to the quality people? And since they were at fault they were going to refund my phone. Then they came back and said a limit for replacement was 1200 and something. My phone costed 1400 and some! I explained they need to replace my TOTAL PHONE. as they lost it and no patients had any access I told them I would accept no less also I had. 35$ case and 49 screen saver. This I felt should be compensated completely before I accept less for phone. On discharge day I asked if I could get police case number as my license was taken as well as several credit cards. Long story short Staff we’re very nice!!! But the way they treat people when THEY are at fault and then defaults on giving me a requested letter for proof!!!! Now I have to fight this and went there for being depressed!!!

I can't speak for the whole hospital, but everyone who took care of me for surgery was kind. I had a good experience. PS, a lot of these bad reviews are clearly people who should have gone to urgent care instead of wasting people's time in the ER. Learn what a medical emergency is.

They tried to steal my babies twins!! I needed to b on a contraction monitor. Also a baby heart beat monitor. The jamacian lady who works in the nursery and dilivery area told me my twins had no heart beats. Her phone rang and a second ñurse came in and took over while the Jamaica lady did a job and the other lady found the heat beat within 1 minute.i cryed when I left. Sucks because have my twins in 3 weeks. I don't even want to havey babies there any more but I do so I know where to find birth certificates in the future. Very scary and emotional. I never want to c her again. . thanks Middlesex!! Bad experience,

Is a shame that we have experienced racism in this hospital from the PACU incompetent nurses to the floor nurses to everyone in this hospital. Is a shame you need to train your staff on equality and caring for everyone who walks in your door!

I have nothing bad to say about this office. I guess wait times on the phone can be really long sometimes. Other than that the front office staff and medical team are great. I originally came here only because it was a follow up from a Middlesex hospital stay. I liked the Dr and needed to find a Dr office in CT. I Transitioned from my Dr office in MA a little over a year ago and I'm glad I did. Dr Read is great, as well as any other Dr I have seen there. Not to mention the My-Chart app makes life much easier as well. I would recommend this office in a second. Thanks Dr. Read.

Went to this facility seeking medical attention after I woke up with my foot being completely numb, I was in excruciating pain. When I got to the facility the physician at the time went into the room and asked me what was going on and after I tell him he proceeds to tell me that I am a big person which could be part of why I am having sever back pain and that it should go away. I received an injection and went home. The whole visit was less than 20 minutes. I received a $3,000 bill for this mediocre visit and when I reached out to pay the bill and expressed that I was not able to afford what the total was each month for a payment plan, I was told that it is what it is and that they are not a fast food place where a menu with prices is available to patients. Kimberly whom I spoke with at the billing office then stated that if I don’t make the payments that they will send me to collections. It costs $1,400 to just walk in just so that people are aware before going to this place. It is was another $1,400 if you get an injection. It’s sad to think that this part of the reason people are turning away from seeking medical attention. This is sad. Worst hospital will never return even if it’s life threatening.

I brought my daughter to the ER because an abnormal cough and the doctor said that she was okay and that there are other patients that needed him as if my daughters health is irrelevant. After I pushed for him to do something they did an x ray. I waited for a result on her X-ray and no one came back with any information about it but instead a nurse came to the room just to ask what pharmacy I prefer. I then asked for the results of the x ray and another Nurse came inside the room with a nasty attitude explaining the X-ray results, telling me to see the pediatrician and that the process will be a long one. No respect for patients, make you feel less important than others. I do not recommend this hospital.

Absolutely phenomenal! Had my daughter at Middlesex and my team was exceptional. Dr. McLeod was the doctor on when I first went into the hospital and Dr. Erica Smith was my delivering doctor, Dr. Mirante was my anesthesiologist who placed my epidural within 30 minutes of them ordering them, my nurses Megan G, Megan S, Golda and Sam Z. All of my nurses went above and beyond. Highly recommended!!

WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!! Went in to the emergency room with a sick toddler and had to wait 1.5hrs for help got missed diagnosed after waiting another 4hrs then got A CALL for the antibiotics that my child NEEDED 3 DAYS later. DON'T BRING YOUR KIDS HERE IF THEY ARE SICK.
