Midland City Forest is a 520-acre city park offering tobogganing, a large sled hill, cross country skiing, ice skating, mountain biking, and hiking.
In winter months, Midland City Forest opens for a a variety of winter activities including tobogganing, sledding, skiing, ice skating and snowshoeing. During the winter, City Forest is best known for its elevated toboggan runs, each a tenth of a mile long. The sled hill is groomed daily and available for sledding at your own risk. There is one large ice skating rink found at City Forest. The forest provides groomed trails perfect for cross country skiing or snowshoeing.
In summer months, there are several miles of mountain biking trails that are open year-round.
