Midland Memorial Labor & Delivery

Came here after unresolved issue at Signature Care ER in Midland. I received better care and left with more knowledge from all those that helped during my visit. Less than 5 hours in the ER and friendly staff is a success to me.

O.M.G. The worst Midland Memorial Hospital will let you die. My husband went to the hospital complaining of abdominal pain. They gave him morphine and set his heart to go to the lower 30 they should have admitted him, but instead they sent him home they don’t care about nobody but a paycheck they should’ve kept him or sent him to Lubbock to make sure his heart rate will go back up but no they sent him home and told him to get in touch with his physician. How is this helping someone? How do you know if you’re gonna be OK how does this put your mind to ease? I think this is the worst hospital ever.

In the past I've had some horrible experiences with this hospital. But in desperation I had to take my baby boy to the ER 5/21. He turned out to have Kawasaki's and they jumped to action quickly and ended up saving my son's heart by taking steps and transferring him to Lubbock. Thank you to the nurses and doctors that treated him, he is doing so much better now! God bless y'all.

I’m not one to leave reviews let alone type one, but it’d be a shame if Ashley and Taresa weren’t recognized for their amazing work, along with the entire labor and delivery staff. These ladies were extremely knowledgeable with top notch communication skills. If we had a question, they had an answer. Everytime. I can not express how thankful my wife and I are for these two. I’m not sure if you can pick and choose your nurses, but I would 110% recommend them!

I wish I could give negative stars! This is the worst hospital I have ever been to.. i rushed my husband there with heart attack systems, they did bp and ekg which was extremely high and abnormal.. they send us to the waiting room for 20 mins while he is having a massive heart attack on the floor.. finally get back there and he is begging for pain meds, then starts having a seizure.. the quack doctor tells him to calm down and and breathe while having a seizure and heart attack.. they then rush him to another room to hook him to cpr machine and shocking machine, they strip him down all while the curtain is wide open, and then cover him with a tiny square towel, curtain stayed open the whole time! They don’t give him meds until 30-45 mins into cpr in an iv.. all the doctors were standing there looking clueless like they didn’t know what to do or never seen that before.. he could’ve been saved if they would’ve gave him nitroglycerin under his tongue or took him straight to the cath lab when we got there! This hospital provided the most horrible and neglectful activity I have ever seen a hospital provide! They need to hire people that know what they are doing!!! Or shut them down!!!! THIS HOSPITAL KILLED MY HUSBAND!!

Really expected better quality ER doctor, but better than Pecos for sure. Wait time is ok considering the number of people in and out of it. Employees up front are nice and welcoming.

I was sent here by ambulance in Dec 2023. It was an OD. They shot me up with the wrong meds on purpose. They vent gave me iv. The doctors were witches or demons. They used their eyes to put demons in me. Black magic used here.

The emergency department needs desperate attention. Everytime someone reach out is because really consider is an emergency that requires immediate attention this hospital needs to take us seriously. Very disappointing to see the lack of care,compation and urgency to the patients. It seems that all they care about is getting a pay check not to save lives.

Absolute worst hospital in West Texas!! My mom is on the decline as we speak.. she' is a diabetic and they are allowing her bed sores all over her body.. I'm not sure if my mom is going to make it out of there alive, but if I can save lives for the future, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL... It's HORRIFYING AND THEY DON'T CARE .

Completely garbage hospital. Avoid at all cost, it your shot in front of Midland Memorial, go to Lubbock. Midland Memorial has no competition so they never need to improve. Spent a fortune on aesthetics and it’s the same hospital it was for the last 60+ years. It’s the equivalent of a for profit prison. How could you tell someone they only allow 2 people per room when someone is having serious surgery?? One spouse one child. Unbelievable.
