Docs and nurses are phenomenal but the front desk staff have always made it difficult to come here. We were told we had a 1:45-2 hr wait. My son fell asleep in the car and because it took me longer than 5 minutes to get him awake and in the building after an hour less of a wait, we were moved to the back of the line. Id still recommend all of clinical staff though.
Needed to take my son here to have him checked out for a cough that he’s been having for a few weeks now. I have been unable to get him into his doctors office because of the hours I work. Before leaving the Beaverton area, I called them to make sure I could bring him in. They let me know that as long as I get there by 6:30 they will take him. Once we got there around 6:17, I called to have my son checked out, and Heather told me they weren’t taking anymore patients. Ultimately, after being screamed at by heather and talked to very unprofessionally, they still wouldn’t take my son in after going back and forth about the fact that I was told he would be seen by a doctor if I brought him in before 6:30. We ended up going to pro health urgent care where I was told my son has pneumonia. They are phenomenal! We will religiously use pro health urgent care for all of our urgent needs now. If possible, do the same for you and your family! Pro health cares about their patients while MyMichigan urgent care would rather focus on the time they are leaving rather than taking care of a sick boy.
Needed to get my son checked for a cough he’s had for a month. Regular Dr. Office couldn’t fit him in and recommended urgent care. Their listed wait time said 1hr 45min but we only waited about 10 minutes to get into a room and maybe 30 minutes after that to see a Dr. Dr Striebel was so good with my son, listened to my concerns and prescribed medication. Very happy with our experience.
Wow, my daughter hurt her foot this weekend while camping. We just took her here on Labor Day they close at 3:00 p.m. and we arrived at 2:37 p.m. We were turned away before taking 3 steps into the foyer where the receptionist was seated and told they're not going to see us because they wanted to leave a little early since it's Labor day..... I get the fact that it's a holiday but if you want to leave early then close earlier and don't advertise 3:00 or don't open at all. If we didn't love our primary care physician who's Mymidmich we would switch over to Covenant as our sole provider for health care. As it is now we'll be using Covent for Urgent care and Emergency room uses when needed and applicable. The customer service and actual health care we've received at Mymidmich Urgent cares and Emergency room lately has been less than par and has failed us several times with our daughter.
We've come here a lot over the years as my work schedule doesn't accommodate business hour at the Dr office we'll. I've have never had a bad experience here. All the doctors are wonderful.
I have to say that the staff does a very good job. The organization though is terrible. The fact that you're told you have to wait two to three hours in your car with a sick child blows my mind. Why there isn't a system in place to notify people of their place in line baffles me. Most businesses even my barbershop have a queue that can be seen when you wait for something yet an urgent care can't be bothered.
I used this urgent care this morning and everyone was very kind and nice. I saw Dr. Striebel and he was very personable and smart. I really appreciated everyone’s care and being able to be seen relatively promptly!
Called to get checked out around 5. Was told to stay in vehicle till they have a room ready. Never received a phone call. So waitited till they close to not even receive a call.
My husband had to go into Urgent Care and we were pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. The receptionist answered all our questions, the nurse that took us to the exam room was friendly and easy to talk to. The doctor was also very personable and listened to my husband explain why he was there. He took the time to answer questions and go the extra mile to make sure all tests that he felt were necessary were completed. Thank you!!
Won’t even see you without a Covid test. Oh and that you’ll have to wait an hour and a half in your car for. Healthcare is a joke here.
