I feel the sushi was not fresh enough. The sashimi was very soft and loose. Also, all you can eat sashimi portions is less than before. Unfortunately, I didn't like it that much.Food: 2/5
Good food , decent price! Ambience is okay, nothing special . Just common style for sushi places. Friendly waitress. Good tasting food. It’s a recommendation. Also vegan options.
I’m giving 3 stars only because the food is good. BUT the service was terrible they took 40 minutes each time we ask for food, even to bring water. I needed to keep reminding them to bring water at this point I didn’t know if they keep forgetting or just didn’t want to bring it.
It was a Thursday night... I called ahead to see how busy they were, they said not at all... So, we came in, we were seated right away. Staff was friendly, Food was good, BUT the service was horrible. Took 40 minutes for a rainbow roll. Had to call the restaurant to get my waiter to come back to our table to place an order! They ended up sending a busboy over... I can't imagine going there on a Friday or Saturday night. Bring a book!
The fish is pre-cut but tastes fresh. Flavor is decent but nothing exceptional. Great service. Sushi comes with three pieces instead of two, with some exceptions, so the price is actually better than what you would find at your average sushi location.
This has pretty much become our go-to after work. Been here at least once a week for the last 3 weeks We only ever get the AYCE. From the first time to the more recent times, we have learned not to overstuff ourselves... because that’s just never a fun feeling after and I feel less rushed, surprisingly enough My husband has fallen in love w/ the sashimi here... that’s surprising, coming from a guy that would NEVER touch a slab of raw fish; even though he’ll eat specialty rolls ‍ Definitely order the halibut sushi ... unfortunately, I didn’t get a pic ‍ oh, well... there’s always next week Service here has usually always been great. There are those one-off moments but whatcha gonna do? As long as it’s not too bad and it’s not consistent... I just say, “eh” ‍ it happens. And it’s always nice when they remember you... human connection is always important
Midori is definitely one of the better sushi restaurants in the valley. Affordable and quite a large variety of sushi and rolls. Here are pros and cons Pros - Food is actually great. Everything from rolls to sushi - Interior is quite nice. They added more space outdoors. - The chefs are great. Servers are nice but can sometimes lag. - Price Is affordable Cons - Servers are extremely nice but can sometimes lag hard. - No more AYCE post pandemic Other than that, sushi is great and service is usually on points
I remember it’s hay day. Hell I worked behind that very bar. Seems like they’re lacking proper management. The taste is there however the cleanliness, service and pride in the place have overall faded. The chefs don’t understand what it means to be a sushi chef. They’re just roll makers now. Which it’s ok yet the discipline and cleanliness that comes with the pride of being a chef holding a bar is gone.
Super awesome sushi!!! Great guest service!!! Perfect ambience!!!Food: 5/5
