Midwest Food Bank - Peoria Division is a not for profit charity giving love, hope and food to those in need in through 290 food pantries and charitable organizations in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, the United States, over seas and disaster sites.
Local & Regional Impact - MFB serves over 300 nonprofit organizations locally in 40 counties in IL, IA, MO and KY. Partnering, nonprofit organizations and volunteers take part in our monthly distributions and daily activities in the Peoria warehouse and drop-off locations in Quincy, IL, Rock Island, IL, Oakville, IA, and Harlan, KY.
Disaster Relief - MFB formed a parternship in 2005 with The Salvation Army during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. MFB has continued to help as much as possible. We have delivered multiple semi loads to over 11 different states including recent support to the 2017 victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in Texas, Florida and surrounding states.
International Outreach - MFB provides via our partners food & supplies all over the world - food & supplies have been distributed in nearly 20 countries through missionary partnerships at orphanages, schools, and clinics.
