Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, caring and knowledgeable doctor. Called with excruciating pain but no appointment and they got me right in! Ended up having emergency surgery and the staff was so caring and made me feel very supportive through the entire process.
Went last year had to go three times to get everything taken care of lasted about a year and getting ready to go back.. fun. My insurance covered everything. I never got a bill other then my copay which they did not ask for up front.
The cash price is expensive. The army messed up my exit date on my paperwork so my insurance was denied. I asked if I could pay the negated price the insurance companies pay and was told that MHTC does not offer a price discount to cash customers. They make individual payers pay much higher rates than huge profitable insurance companies. Hopefully all my dates get fixed and I get the money back, but it's still disappointing that they don't offer a non-insurance price discount. They did a great job on health care, but $578 for a few half hour appointments was more than I expected.
I saw Dr. Jetmore today and had an awful experience. I’ve been to a couple of hemorrhoid centers for about ten years and they’ve all told me the same thing, that I have internal hemorrhoids I’ve even seen pictures from colonoscopies and have treated it without issue. It started up again and my normal doctor wasn’t open anymore so I thought I’d come here. There was no explanation from Dr. Jetmore on what he’d be doing, I told him my history and he didn’t listen to anything I said. He did an external exam and said it was just a fissure and nothing more and told me the other doctors didn’t know what they were talking about and that is just a fissure. It felt very apparent that he was just trying to get me out the door and that I was just another chart to him. Would not recommend. You gotta listen to your patients. I understand you may have years of experience but you can’t discount previous diagnoses without even LOOKING at it yourself. Won’t be coming back.
We called to get a quote for services based on specific treatment codes and based on my insurance which they accepted. Since we had to pay out of pocket because of our deductible we wanted to know our price before hand. I had called two other offices and found out prices for the two treatment codes after our insurance discount and based on those offices contracted rates with our insurance company. This is standard information that any doctors office billing people will know. Midwest Hemorrhoid refused to give us this information and would not allow me to ask their billing person to get a simple answer. They do these procedures numerous times a day yet they refused to help. I guess it doesn't matter if you're on Medicare or if you know your policy will pay for it, but we knew ours wouldn't contribute beyond the policy discount we get in a doctors office for having insurance, since we had a high deductible. They wouldn't quote the price with our insurance policy, saying they couldn't tell what it was even though they had the medical procedure codes and knew who our insurance company was. The other offices we called didn't have that problem. Overall found them unwilling to help.
The only way I heard about this place was from a commercial in 2008, and my god, that jingle was so catchy. The jingle is now stuck in my head and I can't stop singing it. I will never forget hearing: "Don't suffer in silence!" on television. The commercial hit me hard with a 70's retro vibe of music and a perfectly talented vocalist. And... I still sing this jingle to this day. But what's odd is NO ONE at my school remembers it. Only a FEW people actually remember it, but everyone else just can't remember it and I am upset. This jingle was amazing. Hope the jingle comes back fresh with a new commercial. I would love to be hit with some good-old fashioned nostalgia.
Do not sign the financial paperwork before you know what you are getting the treatment for and know exactly what you are getting done. I got treated for what I didn’t ask for I came in for external treatment but they gave me the internal treatment instead then they bill me more than I expected. Please call a different office for better services.
My wife has had problems for years with pain. She had surgery for hemorrhoids years ago but still had pain afterwards. Went here and found out she had a fistula. The doctor removed the fistula and now she is pain free.
Everybody was so helpful and Doctor Jetmore explained my options and we decided on IRC. it was great. NO MORE PAIN. i would certainly recommend them.
Took exceptional care of my family member. Love the dr. And staff!! Caring and explain all procedures thoroughly. Thank you.
