Mike's Fieldhouse is your go-to place for event space rentals and recreation. We can host most events and we work with each group to stay in-budget.
The Michael L. Wendt Memorial Fieldhouse (Mike's) is a state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot indoor multi-purpose facility with an Astro-Turf field. For most of the year, the Fieldhouse is divided into 2 enclosed arenas with a practice area in the back of the building. Mike's also has a limited-service concession stand, male and female locker rooms with showers, staff office and Board Room, and a second-floor storage area. The 4 outdoor soccer fields are also managed and scheduled by Mike's Fieldhouse.
Mike's Fieldhouse is operated by Basin United Soccer Club under a User Agreement with Steen Sports Park, and serves as the Main Office for all Basin United Staff and programs. Mike's is also available for event space rental and has hosted many events ranging from corporate picnics and birthday parties to Cross Fit tournaments and charity auctions.
Mike's Fieldhouse also manages several seasonal sport programs including, Adult Softball, Adult Kickball, Dodgeball, Youth Arena Flag Football, and numerous Pay-As-You-Play sport options inside the facility during the Winter. Mike's also hosts the Oregon Tech Men and Women's Soccer Program, as well as the Oregon Tech Baseball and Softball Programs for Winter Training.
