Miko's Italian Ice - Irving Park

I went last weekend to try this amazing Italian ice. I was not disappointed!!! They are perfect for this summer as they are so refreshing. I had Watermelon and mango and my boyfriend had coconut and strawberry combo Yummy, we loved them. So we had to come back for a lime and passion fruit combo and he also got a coconut and guava combo, and OMG guava is the bomb. I'm definitely going back for more soon. I highly recommend them

Really like this place. It’s ultimately a business, but whenever I’ve come here, it feels like I’m just getting Italian ice out of someone’s doorstep because they’re right by residential homes and the employees are extremely friendly. I asked about their hibiscus and the employee offered to give me a sample. I was thinking it would be a small spoon like at ice cream places, but NO I got a a spoonful, literally. Stumbled onto their block party recently, and the owners were friendly and making sure everyone was getting food or being served. It was really nice to see a local business just be part of the community and to see neighbor support echos the kind relationship this place has. I’ve tried lemon, coconut, strawberry, hibiscus, horchata, and pineapple, and each flavor taste fresh and exactly like the fruit it’s described. Oh I also like that they’ll give you two flavors for any size! Helps try new flavors while sticking to some favorites.

Delicious flavors, fresh and tasty! I would love to go back and try more flavors in the future. I love that you can mix two flavors without extra fees.

Love the Italian Ice here. Mango Passion Fruit for the win! Make sure you try their seasonal flavors! The rhubarb was excellent.

Tons of great Italian Ice options. My toddler and I loved it. The walk-up ordering window makes it easy to stop by on a walk with my dog. So glad we have it in the neighborhood. Also, I lost my wallet right after I ordered. The next day, they went out of their way to contact me and make sure I got my wallet back. Truly wonderful people.

I prefer this location because of its extra seating area but both have the same great customer service and Italian ice! For the price this is just such an awesome summer treat. Flavors are vibrant and remind me of childhood summers.

The texture for Italian ice was not smooth but more like sandpaper. I ordered the raspberry flavor and aside from the seeds it tasted more like watermelon. I also did not tip on my purchase. I mean I'm just ordering from a window when is the price really the price? The person serving me gave me my order and slammed the window shut. Really? You'd rather make me feel upset and never come back ever again then just be happy for my business?

Reasonably priced - with servings that are literally mounded up out of the cup to tantalize you - make Miko’s Italian Ice a must-stop to satisfy your next frozen treat craving. Flavors are delicious!

Everything is perfect except for the use of styrofoam. Please find another more sustainable and less wasteful cup! I would go way more than my usual once per year if they didn’t use styrofoam.
