I went there for a meeting. My first thought was it looked old and dingy and the decor was really dated. However I did like the bar area, which had lots of big windows overlooking the street. The restaurant is located on a busy street, so lots of road noise. We didn't order off the menu for our meeting, but we were served a delicious charcuterie style plate. Despite the outdated decor, I'd like to go back for dinner based on how good charcuterie plate was.
Excellent calamari frit which was very light and accompanying marinara sauce was good as well. Pasta dishes were very good and portions were generous. Clam pasta with We couldn’t finish. The restaurant has good old neighborhood family run Italian atmosphere.
we didn't actually eat hear. maybe the food is good. the volume of noise in the dining room was unbearable. we were seated and got up and left. ok went back to give it another try. sound level still ridiculous. couldn't sit in there. asked hostess if there was seating that was a little more quiet. her reply, this is all I got. a little nasty too.
Omg the food was delicious and oh course i over ate started with the escarole and ricotta filled eggplant and then shrimp francese and steak with shrimp scampi all sooooooo so good went back again this evening to have steak David which is a beautiful steak with shrimp and eggplant rollatiniFood: 5/5
The food is out of this world! Haven't had a meal like this in a very long time! You feel like you're eating Sunday dinner at your Italian grandmothers house. Absolutely outstanding!!!
Classic NY Italian Restaurant with an authentic taste and ambiance. Food was delicious with enough leftovers for the next day, at a fair price. Highly recommend the calamari to share.Dine in: Yes

I have been going to the restaurant for years and enjoy being greeted by Karen and the staff. Never had a bad drink or meal. Service by Lester is always excellent!
