Millburn Creek Park

This is my valium! The swans are swimming, the geese are laying, Christmas in spring! Gorgeous walk. There's an outside gathering across Merrick rd on the east side of the pond. Looks like an outdoor workout , gonna ck it out!

Nice spot to stop and take a stroll along the water or enjoy your bagged lunch. Swans, ducks, and geese abound. In spring, the cherry trees bloom in shades of pink making the views of the Coral House picturesque. The only drawback to me is the lack of bathroom facilities. So if you bring small children here, pack handy wipes as the kids can get dirty hands you'll want to clean before getting back in the car. The park is well maintained otherwise.

Very Serene, a lot of room, great place to launch a boat or jet skis or just at the picnic with the family.

Didn't know about the birdcage with the interesting peacock looking rooster sounding animals. But that's the video that was on the site here. Love the Overlook from the Coral House. Enjoyed eating lunch here when I work nearby nice park. Wheelchair-accessible and the paths is lovely as you can see in the pictures seems quiet here even though the road nearby can be very noisy people going way too fast slow down and reflect. This park has been such a big part of my life. I used to come here as a child before it was redone. While I attended the highschool next to it my photography class would come out on nice days and take pictures there. I took my fiance to see the peacocks in the back 8 years ago. This place holds so many special memories for me. Truly an amazing place.
