I am from out of state and my daughter was opening a new business in Oxford. I wanted to order flowers for her grand opening so I called Miller Florist not knowing anything about them. I told them the amount I wanted to spend and the colors I wanted and the arrangement they put together was AMAZING. Beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this florist. They do exceptionally beautiful work!
Gorgeous arrangements, accommodating staff
Carolyn was the sweetest lady who did a wonderful job helping me. I had made several calls to other florist in Jacksonville and had no luck. I live out of state and I was beginning to get frustrated until I heard her kind voice! She explained everything to me about delivering etc. She is a big asset to your business!
I am unsure of who I spoke with on the phone, as they did not identify themselves upon answering, but I have never been spoken to so rudely. I got late notice of my great-grandmothers passing and wanted to order a standing spray for her service. Once I tell the lady this, she says "Well we wont deliver on Sunday's, our van has already been in Jacksonville and once it comes back we are closing anyways." So I said, "Okay, thank you. I will check somewhere else." And the lady replies "Well you aren't going to find anywhere else" and hangs up on me. I was completely understanding on the phone, but to end a conversation THAT rudely? HIGHLY do not recommend if customers who would be spending $100-300 there are going to be spoken to that way. Unbelievable.
This is by far the best flower shop in the area. I have ordered here many times, even on short notice and have been able to receive amazing arrangements same day! Very thankful they are here! Have had negative experiences with other shops in the area so Millers is my go to choice.
My grandpa passed away and I went there with my mom to purchase a blanket for his casket. I was also going to make a separate purchase and wanted something specific. She stated she didn't have what I wanted. My mom was looking at me for my opinion and when I simply stated that if I couldn't get what I wanted mind you this was for my own personal purchase I wasn't going to get anything there. The lady stated very hateful and rude "Well I can't get something in one day" after we had already discussed what she had available and that I didn't want that. I work for the public and tone of voice and how you word things really makes a difference. If she was mad that I didn't want to compromise on what I wanted because they didn't have what I wanted, she needs to reassess her career.
I have loved the arrangements by Millers for all occasions for more than two decades. Today my husband sent me a dozen roses for our anniversary. I am extremely disappointed with with them. I can't really call it an arrangement because it looks like a dozen longstems from Walmart stuck together in a clear glass vase. Considering what they charge for their work they should actually work and arrange flowers with fillers. They just lost a good customer.
I brought a beautiful bouquet home from my sister's flowers. Rebecca at Miller Flower Shop in Oxford, AL did an amazing job on her arrangement and she was a sweetheart to work with !!! We did everything over the phone and via text, so I never got to meet her in person, but she went above and beyond to make Donna's flowers exactly what I imagined, but way better!! Thank you Rebecca!!!
I called to ask a few questions and was answered with alot of attitude and told I was wrong about information I was given about delivery in the rudest way possible. I feel like a job like this should have people with compassion working and answering questions.... If that even exists anymore?
The center was very nice had plenty of room for my sister and brothers in- law's 50th wedding anniversary
