Very nice park, lots of space. The two dog areas one for big dogs, one for small dogs were very clean and nicely kept. The playground and picnic areas were also very clean and nice. We liked the fitness area and also checked out the track and ball fields. There were quite a few gnats already late April, but we were moving around so it wasn't awful.
Came here to play disc golf and first it is not that easy to find the course which is located next to a building separate form the playgrounds. Then it is not a bad course, it is pretty fun but the lack of signs to find the next hole and the set up is not really that friendly. It is a combination of a few shots in the woods and open. Hole 9 seems like they were packing imagination and you still have to climb the rest of the steep hill to go back to your car crossing by hole 1 and 2 so if it gets busy you better watch out for discs flying at you. Also we were there early august and the bugs level was off the roof. It was actually hard to drive from the pads without having a cloud of flies in your face.
Such a beautiful park nestled in the heart of the Smokies. I've been to several events here and I just went to their new dog park for the first time. Great spot for kids or for those those looking to enjoy a book outdoors.
Nice looking park, but track was closed for construction the week of 11/1/22. Not sure when it will reopen. The dog parks looked roomy and clean.
Wonderful little park in a great location. Pavilions, great play area, tennis courts and more. There's a built in grill at the Pavilion. It's beautiful and built from stone but be aware the grill is really big so you'll need lots of charcoal. The other negative are the gnats are TERRIBLE in the summer so be sure to bring some bug spray. As of summer 2021, there is some construction going on so you're aware. I think theyre putting some new lines in the ground. Overall a wonderful little park.
Helpful spot for walking your dog. Two enclosed dog parks with all you'd expect like bags, water, etc. Restrooms on site too. We were very grateful to find this park during our vacation in the mountains since our rental property had no yard and the road did not allow any space for our dog to "go potty." There are some muddy areas with red clay so bringing a towel to wipe muddy paws is helpful.
Stoped here to play disc golf and let the children run off some energy. No swings but otherwise great place.
This was a really nice dog park! Very fun for the fur baby!
This was so fun playing disk golf here. Very scenic course. Some of the holes were short but very technical. I hope to visit again some day. Yours truly, traveler from Wisconsin.
I came for Disc Golf and it was a wonderful 9 hole course that used the terrain and elevation changes to create some good challenges that required different shots. They had a track you can walk around as well as sidewalks and a pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms.
